"Oh I am going to wear this debt as a badge" "I am unaffected and better off than 70% of all players" "It will be a thrilling and quick grind back to 0"
No, IT WON'T. I'm talking about the people with 50-300 million ISK in debt. It won't be a 'fun grind' back. I calculated that if you have lost 100 million ISK and you earn exactly 500k ISK per battle, it will take you 200 games to return to normal. Seems low? Not really, most people have barely played up to 150 games in their entire experience, and assuming you're tip-top off the leaderboards despite having militia gear, you will suffer from a long grind.
You will not be able to change your playstyle, you will get bored by game #50, you will wish you hadn't been a greedy pig. When the new weapons come out in an odd 4-5 months time, you will still be at the -25 million mark and you will be desperately craving for money.
It will not be a 'fun' grind back to zero, you're going to have a boring and dull time, you won't be able to buy any new gear and for that I am laughing at you. You are probably all the scum who use the Duvolle TAR and ram us with LAVs. I will enjoy your absence, I may have even forgotten of you by the time we next meet in a proper fight without milita gear.
But seriously, have a GREAT grind back to zero. With no room to adapt, no opportunity to change playstyle and no chance to try out new stuff. You won't be able to try out PC and other new features. If the Player Market comes out in 3-4 months time, you won't be able to play around with low prices there.
Your greed is not something to be proud of, you are probably the same scum who over-bought the BPO dropsuits and made them non-refundable. Live long and suffer from your own greed. |

Who are you to say that people will get bored and the grind is going to be terrible? Players that have experience know what they like and most likely bought a bunch of everything they'll need for several of their fits for an extended period of time. If someone spent all their ISK, I'm sure they knew what they were doing. |

i guess you van consider the chance to over spend as a part of new eden. if you didn't want to over spend then you should have planned more and took notice of the forums and announcements on the matter. also theres someone in the corp who purposely spent all there isk so that way they would have something grind for when they capped on SP. me personally will never debt myself in new Eden except for in EVE once. |

If you put in a ticket, check your email. They should have confirmed. And as far as I know, the deadline for submission of a ticket is 31 May. The actual respecs may take some time to roll out. |

What some may not have realized yet.
If you went negative and you haven't bought every skill book.
You won't be able to upgrade your skills until your debt is paid.
I really feel for those of you who are negative and those that went 100 mil or more will probably end up quitting cause you are going to make that back anytime soon. So make sure you put a petition to ccp. |

Dude, you should know full well that 100 million doesn't take very long.
Plus, if you spent that much, you should have went ahead and bought all the relevant skill books in advance, like me ^_^ |

Assuming you earn 500k ISK a match, it will take 200 games to get back to zero. That being BACK TO ZERO, what about getting ahead too? Even if you replenish your supplies, you'll still have to get money even after you're at zero.
Enjoy the long and painful grind, with your limited skills and limited playstyles. |

Unfortunately, we're ALL affected by this situation, even those who aren't in the negative.
Consider this:
A big part of the inherent "balance" in this game revolves around consumable equipment. There's a whole cost-versus-reward element to each match (For example: do you use your expensive Proto gear this match, and hope you earn enough to cover the cost, or do you play it safe and use your Militia gear this time, and earn pure profit?).
It isn't supposed to be cost-effective to use all Proto gear, all the time (unless you never die). This is what gives the newer or lesser-geared players a chance - knowing that it isn't profitable for the higher geared players to always use their best, and that they will, at some point, need to pull out their garbage gear, or risk losing money on a match.
Now, with that in mind, now there are all these people who have stocked up on thousands of copies the most expensive, effective, top-of-the-line gear, and can use it any time they want, with no regard to whether it is cost-effective or not. In fact, many of them are actually PROUD of themselves for scamming the system, and for the apparent advantage they will now enjoy because of it.
Clearly, with such a stockpile of advanced gear, they should have little trouble (eventually) climbing out of the negative but, in the meantime, the rest of us are stuck having to deal with these clowns and all their ill-gotten gear, while we struggle to EARN our gear legitimately, the hard way.
Just doesn't seem fair to the honest people who realized there was probably an error, and chose to take the high-road and not exploit it or take advantage of situation. |

I am being competitive and I play PC, while being sensible with my spendings and while maintaining some dignity. I WANT to try out new playstyles, I want to spec into random new things I haven't played as because their role is constantly changing, sure I've played as them before, but their role (such as snipers) is varying in importance and is becoming different every day. I want to try out new weapons when they come out. Don't pretend you don't want to do that as well..
Your grind is to get back to where you started, my grind is to having fun. Very different. If I were in your position I would probably make a new character, in the odd 6 months of earning back 100m ISK I could get double the SP... |

Also to all you know it alls. We know for fact people didnt spend the money or donate it or do anything with it. They still has more taken away then what they started with before the bug and way more than what they spent during normal play.
We are requesting everyone who hasn't been playing too often to take screen grabs. Some will be able to show their ISK before the injection and after the withdrawal. It will mainly be players who weren't playing that much these last 2 days.
We have one individual fortunate enough to be in that situation and will have screen shots later today. He had 700M before the injection 1.1B after and now 200M after the balance.
Ive personally lost 35-40M but cant prove it with my wallet hx in game because its past that point. Maybe ill get lucky and CCP has records of it. |

You act like I care though.
It's a game.
I'm going to stomp noobs, and I'm going to be in the green loooong before I run out of fits
Besides, this is payment for CCPs failure at implementing dropships (not to mention the email I received specifically states that ALL my ISK would be refunded) Besides, CCP is STILL looking to **** us and reverse our purchases, so quit your whining.
I won't whine when they take back what I earned by flying their fail ships, I'll just continue to kill noobs like I always have.

Fine. I am just easing the flow into your slow realisation that you have no chance to get new skillbooks or do anything different for the next odd 4 months.
And I know what playstyle I want to play, I just think being open to other playstyles is good, because I get bored from time to time... |

I believe the correct symbol is this: Gëá
And anyway, you don't know how I enjoy playing the game, only that it doesn't involve strangling myself and grinding for 6 months. Honestly, look around the forums, there are people crying about it because they are clearly screwed for the next 4-6 months. |

Well that sucks for them, they're more than welcome to file a petition to have their purchases refunded.
I know how well I perform in match, I know how often I die, I know how to drop to cheaper suits when needed, I know that PC pays a boat load and being a slayer pays plenty as well.
Even if they revoke my purchases like ass hats and leave me stranded after a month of vigorous dropship testing, I will still be in a fine position.
I'm set either way. |
