Do we know if this game is going to be easily moved to the PS4 and if so will people on PS3's be playing along side people on PS4's? The reason I am asking this is because I am hearing alot of people talking about the years to come and how great this game is going to be over time, which I do agree with. My concern is, will they continue to put money into a project when the platform is outdated, or will EVERYTHING just get switched over to PS4 and continued. I haven't heard anyone talk about this at all, or have I just missed it.

How did you just quote that, including the point where it says "for now", and then use that as justification for saying no?
Will it be a PS4 launch title? It doesn't look like it.
Will it have a PS4 client in the future? They've pretty much confirmed that. |

So if they move it from PS3 to the PS4 Client, will all of our stats and everything go with it, or will we have to start over? Have they said if PS3 players will be playing on the same games as PS4 or is the number of players going to drop severely because not everyone is going to make the move to PS4 when this game comes out? |

Curious as to see your source on a confirmation, the best I got was "our focus is on ps3 for now", which isnt a confirmation but they certainly arent denying a possibility.

Pretty sure they're gonna test the waters on ps3-ps4 cross platforming first to see if its even viable, assuming they dont do a direct port and will actually make improvements based on ps4's capabilities. Stats can be transfered easily, they're just numbers on the server tied to your PSN account. Dont think CCP would cut support for ps3 immediately if the ps4 version comes out, but it will probably be a gradual process and I'm fairly certain that the population will increase from what we have now. |
