I am quite a noob in Dust 514, but the thing is, I fitted a medium shield based suit (320 shield, 220 armor) and I am usually blowed away in two (2) laser waves.
Basically, I respawn, I aim, and I die.
What am I dong wrong? |

Lasers are a minor incvonvenience, Duvolle TAC ARs are the real problem!

Lasers have a limited effective range bracket. Don't stay in that bracket. Either get further away, where they can't hit you but you can still hit them (ARs have longer max range than Lasers) or get closer (ARs are more effective in close, Lasers lose power). |

If you're talking about the laser rifle, learn how to butterfly strafe. It really throws off people with ranged weapons and that forward movement mixed in makes your strafe faster. If you're talking about scrambler rifles, you have to use extra caution because they're you're effective counter. When you hear the sound of their weapon discharging, take extra caution and try to get the jump on the person using it. |

Laser weapons effect shields quite a bit but those are scramble rifle, scrambler pistol, and laser rifle.
The more common weapon used is the Assautl Rifle which does about equal damage to either.
As for the dying part, you will need to learn how to use cover better, environmental awareness and other things, in ambush it may be out of your control at times though so well keep things cheap until you get access to the proper counter which is another tactical assault rifle. A nerf is coming soon though so things 'might' change.
I recommend heading over to the locker room plenty of learning to be had there. |

Nothing. Amarrian laser weapons naturally have greater damage bonuses to shields, but tend to suffer against armour.
E.G- That laser will be doing something like 110% damage to shields but when it starts damaging the armour of the target it only does 90% damage. |
