Though we have lots of interesting equipment already, I'd like to see new types being added. It's such a versatile addition to the game, it'd be a shame not to expand on it. Here are some ideas:
- Grappling Hook - Mid-range tool that allows you to grapple to ledges, saving ladder times and allowing vertical getaways
- Drain - The Drain is a short-mid range tool that leeches the Shields of enemies, later allowing you to distribute them to allies
- Energy Modifier - The Energy Modifier sends out a short-range blast of energy that vaporizes incoming projectiles
- Magnetic Rod- The Magnetic Rod places a tall pole at the target location, which sends out magnetic waves, pulling projectiles to it and dispersing them
- Toxic Nanohives - Toxic Nanohives look friendly to enemies, luring them towards it, eventually poisoning them and dealing DoT
- Monitor - Deploys a tiny invisible camera on any surface. Switching to the slot will pull up a miniature display, allowing you to see the point of view of the camera.
Alright, they probably aren't that good, but I think they'd really make fun additions to the game. Especially the Monitor. You could throw it down at your Objectives and monitor the people hacking, that way you know what you're up against and how to prepare.
