I am not being facetious but have you tried running in lower tier gear or using a difficult weapon? If you haven't used the LR in a while then you should try it. It makes the game very interesting and difficult. This game is not any more boring that any other FPS. They follow the same recipe of kill, die and spawn. The weapons are different but only in look and sounds because all guns fill the same role but at different ranges or speeds.
I totally understand the desire to be really good and have a high KDR but I enjoy playing for tears just as much as being at the top of the leader board. We lost a battle today but it was super fun because we killed a proto heavy 6 times, it doesn't seem impressive until the kill board popped and we noticed that all of his deaths were from us.
I have been having a great time killing LLAVs, it is so fun and quite difficult. The point is: try other things outside you comfort zone take chances with odd fittings and look for the difficult fights because they are usually the most fun. If we red line our enemy I usually go screw around or look at the sky because complete domination is no fun. I would rather be red lined by Imps than be doing the red lining because it is fun to try to fight your way out of an bad situation but it is not very fun to be shooting fish in a barrel. |
