Like the title states I have 2 mil sp I just received my respec and put the first million into assault rifles in order to be able to actually kill some of these people with 9-12 million sp. So if I get the jump on people I can sometimes get the kill however most of the time I get killed in these situations too. Most of the time im dieing to duvolles so I put my first million sp into at so I could use that very gun. Ok so my question is where do I put my measly 1 million remaining skill points to help my survivability? I dont want to hear run with a squad because I do that, but tell me how when in the academy on an alt I can go 28/4 with 32 assists and be top of the leader boards without spending any sp. But I go to play on my main with my 2 million sp and I go 3/16 its ridiculous and I would just play my alt but as soon as i hit that magic number I'll be even more screwed when i get thrown to the lions. Help please what do i do? |

Focus on core skills first...up your shield/armor and engineering/cpu skills up...which will allow you to fit a better tank. The slowly decide on a suit and whatever you do, SPECIALISE!! Don't waste SP, pick a certain play style you like, create your dream fit...and then skill up until you reach proto mods. Only once your mods and core skills are up, spend more SP on better suits ;) |

Caldari Medium III Weapon Upgrades III Electronics II Engineering II Shield Upgrades III Armor Upgrades III Armor Plates III Armor Reps III Shield Extension III Grenadier III
That should get you started.
Try an advanced medium suit or advanced caldari logi if you have the SP. Run damage mods, a plate, and a repper. Congratulations you are now the flavor of the month.

It's a problem, yeah. The first thing I recommend is looking hard at your tactics. This isn't to say you're a bad player or anything - hell, if you went 26/4 you're probably quite good. However, when you reach the point where you enter the main fray, you are completely unable to go into combat head on. It simply doesn't work, because your opponents nearly always outgun you, out tank you, and out number you. Always flank around and try to kill people off from behind. If you're getting into a fair fight, you're probably doing it wrong. |

I think I like the minmatar suits best because of the 1 hp/ sec. It also seems to me that shields get torn through like butter by guns like the douvolle. Are shields weaker to assault rifle fire and I know armor makes me slower but it might be a decent trade off? |
