Coming from the world of PC's I'm used to the myriad of ways I can screenshot my games, but being a month old PS3 user and doing some research the only ways to take screenshot of a PS3 game is either via a capture card or if the developer adds the feature.
If I'm wrong, tell me how to do it.
I'm loathed to buy a capture card just for the sake of taking a few screenshots, and there is no chance I'm gunna take a photo of my screen!
Please CCP, add a screenshot feature so we can share your game! |

MAG had a screenshot feature, press the PS button while in the game, and there was a screenshot option in the XMB. I wish Dust had a feature like that. |

I'm going to have to say no. CCP is already busy as is. There is no point in having them implement a feature that is going to come standard with the PS4. |

PS3 has built-in screen capture function for game developers to use. Can somebody playing DUST at the moment confirm or deny the following in case of DUST?Hysteria on Feb 10th 2011, wrote:Back a couple years ago, I was playing the demo for Ghostbusters: The Video Game on PS3, and when I went on the XMB in-game, I scrolled along to the Photo section to find an actual PS3 feature that let you 'save screenshot' of whatever the state of the game was before you opened the in-game XMB.
Now it's well, a couple years later, and this function is still unavailable on any game i've played, yet when it comes to another game demo i've just tried (Mercury Hg), it's there!
Why save a screenshot of you playing a demo, and not the full, actual game you pay for? Why is this feature even here at all if it's never used?!!
