This is one part I haven't understood yet. Even if the SP Bonus is exhausted, do I get 50% more SP after the recap from all the battles I've played up to the point of recap? Thanks. |

once u use all your 'bonus' SP, you get up to 1000 SP per match (1500 with active booster) and is based on WP earned in match..
1WP = 1SP with a limit of 1000 per match
active booster gives you 50% of this in addition, and there is no limit on this so once capped you can get 1500 x however many matches you play til the following wednesday |

But I'm only getting like 100-500 SP per match now. |

Yes, "up to 1000". You only get 1000 if you hit 1000 WP, and with a booster that'll become 1500 SP. |

In that case, you need to improve your efforts. Hack more objectives, resupply your friends, plant drop uplinks, revive team mates, rep a partner, and issue orders.
I was able to get 1000 WP with just my knives and hacking objectives. If I can pull it off, so can you. |

I think perhaps there is a Dust 514 language barrier here. I understand what CHICAGOCUBS4EVER said - but I have been playing since closed beta so I follow all the Dust 514 jargon. I am not sure I understand Makyre Vahliha's question. The part that confuses me is the actual question:
"do I get 50% more SP after the recap from all the battles I've played up to the point of recap?"
I am not sure what is meant by recap.
There is however a good chance that CHICAGOCUBS4EVER's answer is the correct answer to the question so I will attempt to translate to common english:
In Dust 514 there are skillpoints that are earned each match. How many skillpoints are awarded depends upon whether or not there are "bonus skillpoints" available or not. You can see how many many bonus skillpoints you have remaining at the end of each match in the after battle results (I do not know if there is any other way to see them other then to manually track them). Each week (on Wednesday after the servers come up) your bonus skillpoints are reset (to 190 000 skillpoints roughly). At the end of each match if you have bonus skillpoints remaining you are rewarded a number of skillpoints from the bonus pool using a calculation that is mostly a factor of how long the match lasted. There is a component for how many warpoints you made (more on this later) but for the most part you are being rewarded skillpoints for time playing. The points are removed from your "bonus skillpoints" and added to your character. After this happens you are then awarded an additional 50% if you have an active skillpoint booster (a character augmentation that can be bought off the market for aurum or as a reward in one of the mercenary packs bought off the PSN store).
The reasoning here is that for every week there is a more or less even skillpoint playing field up for the first 190000 skillpoints from a "player skill" perspective. You could be the worst Dust player in existence but you will still be able to achieve that bonus skillpoint pool just like everyone else assuming you actually log into the matches (in addition to the passive skillpoints that accumulate even if you never play a match).
After the bonus skillpoint pool is used up the rules change. Now the number of skill points per match is entirely merit based - based on the accumulation of "war points" (WP for short). Warpoints are awarded for a number of ingame activities - the most obvious being 50 WPs for a kill 25 WPs for an assist on a kill. Other activities giving warpoints include repairing teammates, blowing up installations and vehicles, giving out ammunition to teammates - etc. The skillpoints awarded is exactly equal to the number of warpoints you make - up to a maximum of 1000 per match.
Again if you have an active booster you are awarded an additional 50% (which means that if you achieved the maximum number of skillpoints allowed - i.e. you made 1000 or more war points then you will be awarded an additional 50% or 500 more skillpoint for a total of 1500 skillpoints maximum per match).
The reasoning here is that people who want to grind ahead of everyone else need to do two things - be good at the game to acheive lots of war points, spend a lot of time playing matches because there is a 1000 skill point limit on every match.

Basically once you hit the sp cap, its pointless to keep playing after that. 1500 SP is junk and wont get you anywhere in the skill tree in any reasonable amount of time.
Only reason to keep playing after you hit cap is:
You like wasting isk, or.... You like running militia fits and farming isk. You cant find any other computer game to play. You need the practice. You love the game so much and want to keep playing. Your an idiot.
Personally once i've farmed my weekly cap I see no reason to log back in unless there is a PC battle coming up.
Im waiting for some sort of PVE to be added. |

All of the above. This is exactly the answer I'm looking for. +1
But even with this, would the active/passive booster still gain more SP AFTER the regular SP is exhausted? |
