Spent some Aurum on the 'Burnstalk' because I didn't feel like wasting SP on something that I've heard was broken.

Main Complaint: Range. When I get murdered by an Assault Heavy Machine Gun because he had better damage application at 60-70m you miiiiiight want to look into the range a bit... That and Duvolle Tactical's were just tearing me up quite a bit.
It's very hard to see the laser as it's a lot smaller, making it pin-point accurate. That's not necessarily a good thing considering it's meant for longer ranges. The smaller beam makes it a lot more prone to miss by those hairline measurements.
Another thing I've noticed is that the damage was -drastically- reduced. Combining a Complex and Enhanced damage modifier from the get go, I was stunned at just how little damage it did. The ten kills I -did- manage were from the poor guys running Standard/Militia suits, while the Prototypes seemed nigh resistant to direct fire.
It also seemed to over-heat a hell of a lot faster and in one instance I actually committed suicide because the overheat kicked off at half a magazine and I just happened to have 10-20 armor from surviving a previous engagement.
So, needless to say, I won't be using this weapon. I figured that because I had never seen one before it might be just that the people who were using it simply didn't like it, but I can see now that it's a weapon that is entirely circumstantial and there are weapons of equal range that perform -FAR- better without the damage falloff at close range (Tactical Assault Rifle!) |

A simple fix to the lazer rifle would be:
1. Remove dmg increase over time and make it do constant damage
2. Give the lazer rifle a sight
5. Make it do amazing against shield but crap against armor |

Power of LR is in instant loose of conteder shielding, it should be arm "close2medium" range. Its Amarr thats reason why u should use it against other race shielding coz amarr is about ARMOR XJ |
