Recently we sat down with the STB leader Quickgloves, regarding how he was able to defeat the Imperfects and assemble a Coalition of players to fight against the threat of the Negative Feedback Alliance and their allies.

I watched their you tube video with coms, man they were disorganized and screaming at each other alot...most were using modded controllers and tac rifles...honestly was quite disillusioned about them.
hell in the video I watched one guys kept shooting his own team trying to hack the point simply cause a red dot was near their.
meh, not as impressed with them as I used to be. |

Imperfects are still the strongest skilled tight knit group of players in Dust. A couple losses doesn't make them a paper tiger. No corporations have defeated them in PC without bringing an all-stars ringer setup.
Competition is catching up, though. Good fights will be plentiful. |

Ya quick knows nothing and another fail Duster blog.
We had 3 tanks 1 AV. STB had 4 tanks and 1 AV plus everyone running proto pack AV grenades. We beat them on the AV side of the battle. They loss alot more tanks then we did at the end of the battle. I had battles where 2 tankers would come down at me at once and I would win. :) So quick trying to make us sound bad with tanks. Sorry STB was Tank heavy. And they pulled in Every ringer ouside the corp. Really the win they had should go to Team Players. They where the ones who won it for them. And played the match.
We also beat them heavily on clone side of the battle. THey just had a great set up where they could spawn in quickly and kill anyone trying to hack. Do not worry we have plans to stop that. And |

Any team with both quickgloves and I on it is not an "all-stars ringer setup". They lose games like everyone else. Everyone loses eventually. Isn't the first time they lost, won't be the last. You don't need to be better than anyone else to win. You just need to beat them for ~20 minutes.

no, don't get the wrong idea, the imperfects have some real talent in their corp, however that doesn't mean they cant be beat. As was proven last night. They can give all the excuses they want but at the end of the day, we beat them. (of course they beat us too) it wasn't a shut out on either side, there were wins AND losses. |

Yup its a loss and I dont get why people get worked up over it from either side. Imps are going to lose matches and its not a big deal. Best part is the epic fashion and it being recorded. QG wasn't smart though as imps were just randomly looking for fights and now its looks like they plan to evict stb and frankly it will happen eventually.
What people fail to realize is there have been over 60 imps that have played in PC battles from my count against most A teams from other corps/alliances/coalitions while winning most of them.
Sure there is probably some hurt epeen in the imps over it but losses are going to happen. I just think imps will win the war in the end and there really isn't anything stb or any hired merc can do for them.
Note: its kinda lame that QG talks trash when its mostly ringers that did the work. I am 100% in support of using ringers though as I see it a key part of the meta game long term. So credit QG for doing what he needed to do to give his side best chance to win. |

So..... we won because we had a good set up. We lost the tank battle, and ground battle. Whatever makes you happy man! To me a win = a win |

Who knew winning once meant you are better than the team you have lost to 6x am much? PFB beat us once and we can back to dominate them ( no offense to the PFB members in our alliance ). STB did what they had to do get a win, even tho they had to ring 90% of the team that got the win. Which is all fine but bragging about it like you did all the work

They had 1 win, but how many losses did they suffer to get it? My guess is its just a pride thing, the Imperfects is an infamous corp for being mean to beat, and is a big source of jealousy. Despite the help they needed from both conditions and ringers, they're still getting cocky. We're pretty much in the same shoes as you when it comes to the EoN vs Cronos war; Red Star is being invaded from all sides. Every match Red Star has lost has either been to a bad timer for us, or they pulled in ringers to replace their weaker players, while we were missing a few of our A team. I don't know the exact score, but Red Star has won at least 3/4 of all their matches against Cronos. All the while, I heard rumors that they're begging us to join Cronos. I personally think both STB and every corp in Cronos is a joke. I say this personally, I do not speak for my corp. |

wasn't in the match; but yes we lost; bound to happen. Not many teams (in games, sports, etc), can sport an undefeated record (especially when there is an oo time frame).
Will say grats to the coalition team as it was a joint win (maybe more heavily of non STB players). That said, we lost a battle, but we won the war for the district. I think many corps would welcome going 3/4 to anyone and get their district; but thats just me |

Well, you guys probably shouldn't be surprised that STB went public with their win.
Bravado on forums, is a form of psychological meta-game. If you play against someone, and they don't just win, but are intent on defaming you as well, they are out for blood.
They don't want a good fight. They don't want a slosh match. They don't want a troll match. They don't want to have a good respectful game.
They just really hate the Imps, and will do anything to break them, and their reputation. =/ |

nah red dot was in front of him, as he was misssing he killed his own guys on the point, he did this twice in a row two seperate instances, if the red dot did it on purpose i'm more impressed with him. The standard tactic of spray and pray with the modded tac didn't work out in those instances.
trust me they had no trouble talking at each other a lot, coms was definitely working |
