Devs said SS stretched the gun ranges far beyond what they were originally planned to. The ranges were far too long, and Uprising ranges are just right.
Agree on Ambush clone count increase. |

I say give Heavy Weapons (HMGs and Forge Guns) a Sharpshooting skill so they'll stop complaining about range with the HMG. |

I'd say no to sharpshooter. Tweaking native ranges yes. Skill based ? No as it unbalances weapon types. Maybe add modules in the future to boost range as it would require a trade between range and something else.
Regarding clones in ambush, i wanted more when we only had 80. So obviously, huge support there. 100 Clones for ambush sounds good to me. |

No, because then Sharpshooter would be another 'mandatory' skill that every player would have to have in order to compete.
In essence, you -need- Electronics and Engineering in order to fit your suit with all of the gear you want, so it's be definition a mandatory skill that you need at level 5 in order to compete with everyone else.
Armor Upgrades and Shield Upgrades are mandatory skills because they passively increase your suit's armor/shields across -ALL- suits, making them far more efficient than someone who doesn't have these skills. You notice these changes most when two Heavies fight against one another as 25% of 450 is an addition of 120. That's a lot of bullets you can absorb while pumping them out yourself.
Adding another mandatory skill like Sharpshooting would just be an SP dump that imbalances the game between players who have it and those that don't. |

I hope SS will never come back, a damage falloff is what we need and CCP is working on it Most of skill are mandatory depending on your play style, this is the RPG side of the game, i think we need more proficiencies to maintain the game interesting at higher levels. |
