This kind of belongs here and kind of belongs in the locker room. So I posted it here.
Why is nudity against the forum rules? I have some henta-*ehm* artwork that I made, and just realized I can't post it due to it being explicit in content. Why is nudity frowned upon here, or in the "my dust" section? Mainly where I live (USA) nudity is considered horrible and ugly. But in most parts of the world it's not as strict. From what I understand the Polish are like the Americans when it comes to nudity.
What's so bad about it? Why can't we post explicit content on a game that I would strongly assume is ESRB 18+/M for mature?
Especially when it's a sexy caldari scout getting receiving ora- umm...
Anyway.
Discuss?

Depends on how you see things.
A woman breast-feeding her child in public is considered ugly. The child is seeing the mother's breast at a young age, already being exposed to nudity. People need to (not targeting you) take nudity lighter and realize that sex, and nudity are a part of life.
I also didn't know this game was rated T, I guess that explains it.
Also realize this is a discussion, I expect you all to be mature about this. |

So they can shoot stuff with guns, but god forbid they see a nipple?
Exactly my point.
Shooting people in the face, stabbing people with knives, blowing people up, crushing people under cars, punching people until they're dead, and nudity is somehow worse. |

There's a lot that I could say about the subject of violence vs sex and why some things are taboo while others are seen as progressive, but I don't want to open up a politics vs religion debate on a video game forum.
I just want a mild, well-mannered discussion.
Parents feel free to chime in. |

On the other hand I wouldn't mind a naked hentai picture of a cadari chick still with helmet on, lol.

I just want a mild, well-mannered discussion. Parents feel free to chime in. As a father of two, I can say from observation that a lot of parents don't want to be parents. It's not an issue with mature content affecting someone's child, it's about the parent being afraid to discuss these things with their kids to relate them to real life situations. That's why we have the stork delivering babies story and why you have parentactivists freaking out when their kid comes across something that could be considered taboo on TV or in video games and they rather blame society than their own faults at parenting by allowing access to that form of media. (Wow, I managed to get that much out without opening a can of worms not fit for these forums.)
Thanks for your input, I know exactly what you mean from my father being so awkward about those types of things during my youth. |
