I won't be buying another "pack" until you offer something besides craptastic meta 1 BPO. Its not even worth it. I wouldnt even buy these things on the open market if it were there yet.
I don't see why CCP can't give at least some adv or variation on the BPO stuff. As long as its not better than the isk versions, its not paying to win. I think its a bad idea to go above adv level with BPO. But at the end of the day, if its the same meta one stuff in the next pack I dont see anyone actually buying it. |

99% chance it will not happen because of the huge jump in price between Advanced and normal gear. It is to limit the "This is my 1,100 ISK suit and it is full Advanced." I believe it is intentional to have it as a "save money or use better gear." |

There is strong resistance to anything above meta 1. I don't even like that there is meta 1 bpo's, they should all be meta 0, but since the meta 1 prices are fairly low, not many complain about it. |

I'd rather they just release a pack that doesn't have ANY bpo, just give me another booster. Boosters are the only reason I buy packs anyway. |

BPO items above meta 1 or standard would pretty much kill the game's novelty of death having economic consequence. Some players are already upset with what we have.
If CCP are smart they wont ever do that. But greed makes people do strange things. |

For the pack, you get the amount of aurum you'd get just by spending that much money... plus boosters... plus novel items...
Notice how they do offer something besides craptastic meta 1 bpo. |

Im not saying it needs to be prototype. Its not even expensive to use adv gear when u go racial. Even with complex mods, adv suit can run no more than ~60k. A single BPO would drop that cost 6k at the most for the same meta.
I want something different besides another std version. I would even be nice if it was a different color, but its not.
It wont be P2W because there are isk versions associated with it that are just as good. So you pay for convenience....same as any other AUR version. Every other BPO on the market has an aur cost associated with them. Once you get outside of the std version, no one uses the BPO and it doesnt hurt your pocket book in the slightest at ADV level.
Variation is all I'm asking for here, rather than just a trophy that never leaves the hanger. |
