At about 2:35, PDIGGY unloads 20 shots of his Duvolle Tac in 2 seconds.
10 shots per second.
Damage per shot is 63.5(?)
635 Damage per second.
Pretty balanced if you ask me
Also, sorry I'm on my tablet so mobile link is necessary. |

Your link shows no Tac AR as far as i'm aware of. Judging by the Chromosome textures it's a plain old GEK.
Also, PDIGGY has been referred to as proof that modded controllers are beeing used on multiple occasions. I've yet to see him utilizing a rate of fire that i cannot pull off consistently and dust is my first real console shooter. |

Please name the video title so i can look in the non mobile version for it and decide wether your link somehow got messed up or you're a really bad troll. The video your link leads to is named "Dust 514 Beta: A Not As Cheap 42 Kill Ambush Game" and shows neither PDIGGY nor a Tac AR beeing used at any point. |

It is 15 shots a second with a turbo controller. They sell one at walmart for 12 bucks but it is wired and not wireless.
All you do is hold in the turbo button along with the button you want programmed.
/easymode
15 shots a second is what it says in the intructions.

When I was at Wal-mart, it was on a locked peg so I couldn't look all over but the box didn't say Turbo from where I could see and the description on the website didn't say Turbo either.
It isnt advertised on the box but the turbo is on there. I purchased it on accident just trying to buy a cheap one after i stepped on my. I tried it out with the duvoule and it worked just fine.
Here it is

I know all of that. Where's proof of it beeing utilized and viable with the Tac AR?
That's the third OP that claims to show PDIGGY using a modded controller while not showing anything of the sorts. Unless the OP or someone else provides the correct link to the bespoken video i'm calling bullpucky. |

Sorry wasn't saying this guy uses one for sure, I don't even know who he is.
You can tell by the sound it makes while shooting, at least when I tried it out.
There is really no way to "prove" anything as it is all subjective, but people are using them.
I can tell when I hear it because I tried one.
Can't prove **** though LOL not even that I used one. |

Can you confirm that this video shows what it claims to show and if yes can you provide a link that leads to it? Because the linked video i'm seeing is both outtated and completely unrelated to the OP's claim.
I'm not saying that modded controllers don't exist, they obviously do, and i'm not challenging the notion that Tac ARs are OP because i think they are. I just haven't haven't seen any first hand footage of modded controllers. |

You did good though, thank you.
Edit: Also, he got the damage wrong by some 15 points iirc, so yeah. |

I'll just leave this and this here:
CCP Remnant wrote:We'll be making some adjustments to the rifle ranges in the near future. We're currently testing the Rail Rifle and Combat Rifle internally (the two missing archetypes). Within the assault rifle class the four weapon types will break down as follows:
Assault Rifle (Hybrid - Plasma) - short range Combat Rifle (Projectile - Autocannon) - short-mid range Scrambler Rifle (Laser - Pulse) - mid range Rail Rifle (Hybrid - Railgun) - long range
Keep in mind though that long range for an assault rifle is not equivalent to long range for a sniper rifle, so while they will adhere to existing category definitions don't expect massive differences in the distances between these weapons A lot of the original assault rifle variants (Breach, Burst, Tactical) were created to fill the gaps these newer weapons will fill and so mightGÇÖve felt out of place (not to mention we just plain made mistakes with some of them). The scrambler rifleGÇÖs optimal range will be increased and weGÇÖll be releasing an iteration of the Tactical Assault Rifle with a smaller clip and much wider hip-fire spread making it less effective in CQC. If that change alone does not prove enough we will walk the damage of the TAR down slowly. No big, sweeping changes this time.
CCP Remnant wrote:
Changing the RoF to something that would ameliorate the advantage given by modded controllers would likely make the weapon feel a bit worse when using a standard controller (some people can press the fire button faster than others... I have years of Track & Field defeats to prove that. Man, I miss that game. But I digress!). Using modded controllers is tantamount to using a GameGenie or GameShark back in the day. It might be fun, but it ain't cool. We'll need to address it, but not by making the intended behavior worse. That said, we'll look at making adjustments to the RoF to prevent the shameless exploitation currently being seen.
