A thread idea just to see what is everyone's deal breaker was or will be. It's not meant to be a bashing of the game, I have high hopes, but I've noticed I'm more reluctant to throw money in due to changes and I was wondering if anyone else had any personal gripes that turns them off. I regret none of what I've paid for. I'm just curious.

A combination of the Merc Pack kerfuffle and the overall lack of progress. The general lack of acknowledgement of the substandard state of the game combined with the crass nonstop BUY AURUM voiceovers pretty much hardened my opinion that there a zero percent chance of future spending on Dust. |

I actually bought a merc pack two weeks ago, plan to buy more.
The game had issues that need to be resolved, but I'm still enjoying it. |

I've stopped spending money on Dust514 since I realized buying a house next year is more important, otherwise I would have already bought the new packs that came out. Yes, packs. Plural. |

NOOO please spend more , we need this game to run another 7 years , if you stop funding Dust514 CCP might close the servers.
So please buy ALL the AURUM you can , keep the game open for us people who dont spend $ on AURUM

This has been gone over about about a thousand times here on these forums. Original merc pack was supposed to include a refund of all items at launch, a bunch of people bought it for that feature and used the items assuming we would get what we purchased. They ended up adding the caveat that to get that half of your purchase you had to take a full character wipe. |

Best guess: Baal bought a merc pack; CCP added some additional items for a single weekend event after he bought it. He felt entitled to these even though they weren't on the market when he bought the pack. He's upset he didn't get them.
That made a lot of people who like to feel entitled about things get upset. |

Yeah, bought an Elite pack and I'm not seeing myself buying anymore Aurum for 4-6 more months. (I had more boosters stockpiled in addition to what I get in the Elite pack and some more boosters I bought with the Aurum) |

I bought 2 merc packs way back. I feel pretty content at the moment.
I don't mind paying for a good game but I will not pay into any sort of subscription mentality. $40 feels like a reasonable price for the enjoyment I get out of the game so far. As new updates/expansions are released I will probably buy more merc packs or whatever is available.
Dust 514 does not feel like a $60 title at the moment. And certainly not worth paying $100+ a year in continuous active+passive boosters.
Of course if you are dropping that kind of money into the game that is cool. I think Dust has a lot of potential and is deserving of player support. |

Chromosome was, despite its faults, enough fun to spend money on.
Uprising, so far, isn't. Not spending money on something that isn't fun.
Not to mention that "we're adding new skills, allowing you to really specialise" just made previously generic skills specific so we get to spend SP on them more than once. But only after training pre-reqs that don't even do anything. And at higher SP costs. "Incidentally, why don't you buy this new booster that gives you more SP?" |

I plan on spending some money - maybe boosters when I cant play as much and cosmetic for sure if I can have that stuff on the battlefield.
I do like that CCP has given many ways to "support" - The only thing I may like to see in the future is build your own bundle |

I have no issues with the game, everyone should just relax an start having fun. I will keep spending and playing,.
This game is going to grow into something great, just like eve.
