this pistols have 45/2 CPU/PG usage
and tree of skil have skill for reducing PG for 3%....
2-(2*15)/100=1.7 and in dust514 its still 2. Very usefull skilll |

Some of us have already pointed this out.
Hopefully devs have seen and will address it.
Optimization (maybe differeing bonuses per weapon) and Rapid Reload (a larger %) need to be looked at |

On their "fixed" for uprising, there's a small note about "Flaylock and Plasma Cannon not requiring PG" - it says "fixed", but with a note that says "working as intended". Neither is supposed to require any PG (which means the couple of Flaylocks that do are presumably in error).
Plasma Cannon Fitting actually is supposed to reduce CPU (I haven't tried it of course, because leveling into Plasma Cannons at all past a single rank is pointless with rapidly diminishing returns and ADV/PRO models that aren't really better).
I assume the Flaylock was possibly meant to have a CPU reducing optimization skills as well, and either something was miscommunicated - or the text is wrong.
However, the previous poster is spot-on. When all weapons in category were shackled to a single value (Light Weapon Reload, Light Weapon Capacity, etc.), then it sort of made sense that the value wasn't adjustable. It had to apply to a large set of weapons.
However, ever since they were separated piecemeal into skills for specific weapons, this no longer makes sense. If you max rapid reload for Scrambler Pistols (a very expensive skill), you get .375 of a second shaved off the reload time. This is a byproduct of all these percentages and approaches staying the same, regardless of weapon. The ammo skills is another odd one. Maxing Plasma Cannon gives you 1 more round for a crapload of SP.
Ideally, they need to be re-examined and addressed on a case by case basis for each weapon with respect to their viability. As it is, Ammo, Reload, etc. are among the most expensive skills inside weaponry. They are also typically some of the most worthless skills, and that seems like it's an oversight. |

I think you missed the point of what Zeylon Rho said. Yeah, those skills are very useful, but not for every weapon. Ammo skill is almost useless for weapons like plasma cannon and swarm launchers, you waste a LOT of SP to get one or two more rounds. Is the same with rapid reload, maybe you can see a difference with a weapon that reloads in 4 seconds, but the skill will be wasted on a weapon that reloads in 2 seconds. Like Zeylon Rho said, they need to take a look on a case by case basis and removing or changing the numbers on the skills that are a waste of SP on certain weapons. |
