Hi,
just noticed that there are only Minmatar AUR logi suites?
So u (CCP) want to sell AUR SP "shortcuts", well enough. Than why do i have to spend my already extreme limited SP as new player, at a race i might not otherwise pick?
Why are there no AUR Amarr/Caldari/Galente versions, this makes no sense to me. If u want my money make more AUR options available. |

Because they haven't coded them yet...
The minmatar suit was the only logi suit last build so it had an aurum version the rest will probably have one eventually. |

You could just as easily ask:
"Why are all the BPO dropsuits on the market only of the racial variants that existed prior to uprising?"
"Why are all the suits (including BPOs) in the "NEW FOR UPRISING" merc packs only consisting of the role/racial-variants that existed prior to uprising as well?"
and of course, your question:
"Why are all the AUR-based suits allowing you to jump forward in your suit usage only available for roles/variants that existed pre-uprising?"
I think most people would "Like" to have the option of BPO variants other than the ones they've released. We have yet to be provided with that opportunity, and the Collector's Edition Amarr suits remain the only ones announced so far. |

Yeah, a BPO Proto Caldari Logi suit would be really cool, worth spending AUR on. What is the motivation for me to spend my money on a $100 merc pack if it only has a different painted ck1 BPO that is other wise no different than the one available on the market already many levels below the skills I have?
I think I can answer the question about why though. Programming time, forum reading time and program design time. Each new feature that we ask to be implemented needs to go through the design phase and this takes time. To fit all the stuff into Uprising that CCP did it had to be designed and coded as well so the why is: Time limitations between builds. |

I doubt we'll ever see Proto BPOs
I'd assume they could just as easily have made the Dren suits any number of racial variants. Change one variable... it's Gallente logi suit instead of Minmatar.
The offerings strike me as lazy because literally EVERY merc pack released came with a Caldari Assault suit. (dragonfly, Dren, Covenant). It's practically the opposite of variety - and the Blood Raider faction (covenant gear) is made up of Amarr in EVE. And of course... there was already a Caldari assault suit BPO on the market. In fact, every suit released except the Dren Heavy already had a BPO of that exact variant and meta-level on the market.
I don't think a different Std-level suit would've been unbalancing. It just seems silly that EVERY assault BPO option is a Caldari std suit, etc. |

Mhh isn't the AUR version just a copy&paste of the normal ISK version, without the full SP needed?
I was under this impression at least and i see other racial advanced and proto ISK suits? |
