My internet is fine, something is wrong with my connection to Dust. I have tried Asian servers (where I am) and then automatic. The automatic battle put me in the worst match I have ever played. I shot a militia forge gun, 5 times without reloading at a turret that an enemy was in, none of my bullets fired at all. Then he pulls out a tank and I use some swarms because my forge is broken, they don't work either. AV nades took about ten seconds to throw and when I later threw them through a window, they bounced back at my feet.
It's been manageable for the last two days but today is just plain awful. I wouldn't usually care but I have a booster that has been running out through all this and I can't afford to use boosters if my connection to Dust is garbage. Like I said, my connection is fine to everything else, speed and ping are 6+mb/s and <60ms respectively.

Hi,
I checked the server log and it showed that you had a pretty bad match that ran on one of the servers in Sydney. During that match your ping is between 250ms and 300ms in average.
The rest matches seem to be fine with ping below 100ms most of the time, with spikes up to 300ms occasionally.
Can you tell us where you're from? |

I currently live in Hong Kong and play on the Asian servers, using a British 160gb Slim PS3 (if that even makes a difference). I can tell when the matches have bad connection as it seems almost impossible to aim any of my weapons or hit anything even though they're in my range and sights. When I have a good connection these problems are 99% gone. Perhaps this is a combination of the aiming glitches as well as these connection issues? |

Where exactly are they 'cause that is what I'm currently planning... I'm currently playing from Vietnam and it is atrocious... I can't even connect to the MQ now. |

Hey why not do yourself a favor @CCP and at least enable some of that data for in game? ping (numbers not that bars BS) display on the scoreboard next to every players' name during a match would surely shut many of us up.
Clearly CCP is not willing to make the only proper fix which is simply impose a reasonable max ping filter & auto-kick that might prevent some players from vs. each other .You know it's fact that matching players from disparate geographic/network reasons is going to result in extreme latency difference some or all the time which that no compensation can ever fix fairly.

I've had similar issues. Mine only seems to start lagging after I play several games (if I manage to make it through that many without the dreaded loading crash). I was wondering if maybe there's some kind of cache that loads up and bogs down after extensive play? My PS3 and internet function normally with every other game that I play. Dust is the only one I have this problem with.
Playing from southern Illinois if that helps any. |

Keep in mind that there is ONCE AGAIN a memory leak issue very similar to the E3 build of 2012, and the early issues with Chromosome.
Resetting the entire system every 5-6 games can help alleviate the issue, but it is not a guarantee.
Welcome to lagfest 514. Oh wait it is supposed to be Dust, more like the dust that shut down the AH-64 in Iraq in '91. |
