as far as homones... just remove the organs that produce any unwanted hormones, its not like yu have to worry about cancer or physical illness when you can body jump.

If that doesnt float your boat, repeated exposure encourages resistance.

Increased physical strength would be a factor in choosing a male body, but i'd hazard a guess that the suits aren't just passive armor.

Increased brain mass is great... if that extra brain tissue is actually used.../just_saying... :P

Those guys control more space than the empires.

Well, if you maintained the same hormone levels while switching genders, you would either end up with an abnormally feminine male body or abnormally manly female body.

It looks like the changed the lore though :/. That being said though i don't think a dev has ever said if all chronicles are cannon. If we can grow people we can probably grow women with above average muscle mass. He did mention stock clones were given because they were cheaper. Its not 100% support of my theory though.
