Oh and when they realized how short the weapon ranges were? Infantry qq's louder than every other group combined. We make 1 or 2 threads, then keep them alive for a long time. Oh I know, and this was actually a legitimate question.
We recently took a 25% PG nerf, 25% armor, 25% shield, gained a little resist but it wasn't compensated like other vehicles who all got an HP buff except us. AV starts with a +10% damage as before it needed SP, SP costs for ships rose dramatically, small missile turrets skills damage were nerfed by half or more for each skill. Then all the bugs about missiles not aiming, hitting ships, turret gunners dying and not being able to get back in ship, turrets snapping out of your hands to redirect aim AT the ship when aiming down or towards the front, ships explode if you press start, randomly falling out of ships, RDV's colliding with ships, active modules being a bad UI, now plagued with more bugs and even worse design than pre-uprising leading to more mis-actications, price decrease being in patch notes but never being implemented, etc, etc, etc.
All of these hit us recently and all while if anything the DS needed a leg up. So what's next? We've come to learn CCP obviously thinks drop-ships are too big for their britches. You could have said one would be ridiculous to expect nerfs before based balance but look what happened. So, I no longer expect nerfs or buffs based on balance considerations. It's being based on something else, I'm not sure what... But I know they're not done trying to make this vehicle go extinct. |

Kind of already happened, you know there's weak spots. Those engines that take up 30% of the ship, right? |

While I could also see this happening, in truth that build would come in about a year. And I'd absolutely not be playing dust during that time. Afterwords? No telling at this point. |

-95% dmg to dropsuits, +450% dmg to drop-ships. (Also see small Rails, which I'm 99% sure is physically only capable of hitting a drop-ship in the first place). Seriously, test it out. Like I've said, I parked in front of supply depots and got 1 hit out of 1000 for the full duration of a game not long ago. |
