I have lost over 11 million isk because of friendlies calilng in starter fit LAV's. i have lost another 4 because of enemies calling in Starter LAV's. Just make it so you don't get destroyed by friendly ones, and so that YOU at least get some type of GIANT WARNING saying that something is coming in.
if not then bolluses cannot be cloacked and must be fully visable all of the time. I am sick and tired of losing all of this ISK for stupid reasons.
Plz don't just tell me to not go into dropships, It is actually very good, the only things that can take me out are proto forge guns and 2 railgun installations double teaming me

how about you just ask for the transporters to come in at a higher altitude . above the dropship ceiling but still within railgun and swarm range |

No i would ask for them to come in at a much lower altitutde, so that i can safely fly above it, reasoning is that it still has to come down, it would end up coming down on top of you. I always fly at very least 45-55 meters above the ground, this way i don't get hit by AV nades and grenades. however, i cannot fly any higher than that because i lose accuracy, and can't hit anything, or everyone is out of range (proto missile launcher). But the bollus still comes up and hits me
does anybody agree with me |

i agree with you 100% i was just trying to find a way to keep the bollus cloaked . and what i was getting at is that the only time you would have to look out for it would be over its payload drop point because it would be higher then you
btw i wish their where more competent CRU dropship pilots ^_^
we could also see if a no delivery could be put in so if you are in it's flight path it won't deliver but i think that could be used to flood the sky and stop drops |

well, you can always find me (add to contacts) in domination i always try to hover directly over the objective, and i always have my mic on teamchat. Otherwise i'm in my assault dropship (the 947,000 isk dropship) trying to look out for starter lav's and blowing up tanks
agreed with your edited post |

Are you telling me that calling in LAVs is a viable anti-DS strategy? Who needs to fill the air with flak when you can fill it with RDVs? |

-_- yes it is a very overused strategy, i have seen it many times before, people have called in 3 starter fit LAV's in a sort of triange or circleular area around me, so when i go in to get a kill, i will either die instantly, or not get any points at all. Which the reason i fly a bit lower in the first place is to quick snatch a kill(you don't get very many, so you take any oportunity you can) |
