You THINK there's no AFKers because you can't see them as easily, but there's plenty just hiding around in a corner and stayin there the rest of the match. Most Ambush maps have plenty of spots people rarely ever go to o look at.

or for those of you who are to scared to let us follow in eve footsteps of free fire.. make it so after a period of inactivity they are vulnerable or something.. idk i just want to shoot them i dant care of my wp takes a hit because of it
... On the plus side itd also make nova knifes useful Yes. Let us regulate ourselves with friendly fire. There will be no more AFKers. Killing them will help red team to clone out your team faster ... But i support idea of enabling FF for pub matches... With negative WP and SP? Afkers should be "marked" via introduction of "standing system"... Or no SP and ISK gain...
As many have said before, this could easily be avoided with a rubber band or just placing the controller in a certain way. At most it may become a small inconvenience for AFKers and regular players.

Even if they have some sort of way to try and prevent it, people will find a way around it, and anyone that wants to do it will just search how to do it.
The question is not how to fully stop AFKing, the question is how to best limit it without inconveniencing normal players or disrupting regular gameplay more.
Its already bad enough we have AFKers, we don't need to implement dumb rules that will make them even more annoying when they themselves will be the least inconvenienced.
As someone else mentioned one of the better ways to do it is not by implementing some crazy laws that won't matter to AFKers in the end and will just annoy regular ones, but by giving a better incentive to actually play the game that will not cripple the experience of others.
