I had just today a few great gameplay experiences squadding up with some ally mates while using voicecomms and the matches were incredibly fun. Now this matches were also the first time where i hat pretty severe framerate issues. FPS are never remarkebly high in this game but i never noticed drops in the 10-15 frames region before today.
Now while i found this observation interesting by itself, this video by ceopyrex seems to mention the same observation around the 1:30 mark.
Because of that i would like to gather some feedback and encourage testing on whether not using voicecomms, offloading them to another channel or using external technology has any impact on your game performance.
So go on testing my little guinea pigs and report your findings.  |

Oh, right...
My Corporation uses a different channel than the Team Channel for voice communications in PC. I have kinda, sorta, noticed it before when we have 6 people in a Squad on Skirmish that everyone gets kind of whacky lag. However, it is not really noticeable enough for me to say "there's yur problem!"

The problem could absolutely have multiple factors involved. I just want to see if there's a reason to believe that voicechat is one of them. |

My experience which may or may not be related. If you're PS3 is on a wireless connection and your voicecom is also wireless, your gaming experience could be crap or even not viable at all. After wiring up my PS3 connection has never been smoother and voicecom is crisp and clear. |
