I request to change the name of this game, since that is all I see is people getting killed by those awesome FREE taxis on their expensive suits.
It will be more suitable for the game, team mates steal cars from others, stomp dropsuits worth more than the taxi with literally no acceleration, you kill a player and take his taxi.
I would encourage CCP to allow the driver to shoot a a turrent at the same time

i don't see a issue with this . a proxy alarm to a approaching LAV would be cool and make them more susceptible to regular grenades.
they are cars let me shoot the driver out .
so just make them easier for infantry regulars to kill
unless you get more expensive ones |

I like the murder taxi's. When I'm getting proto stomped and the majority of my team has given up, I'll switch to a free lav. It's a fun way to pass the time when waiting for the match to end and get my isk/sp.
Less hp wont stop me from hitting ppl, you can hear my lav coming for an easy av throw, although, something I always found odd is that there is no collision dmg for running ppl over, but even if there was, it wouldn't stop me from doing it. The only thing that would stop me is if there wasn't a free lav, however, I don't see that happening any time in the future since we got lav bpo's as apart of the elite/vet merc packs. |

Everyone is so angry at the governemnt aid for mercs campaign. Look, just because the government hands out free cars doesn't mean its coming out of your pocket book.
Transportation is an equal opportunity necessity, so buckle up and drive.
Oh and since you are talking about people getting run over, driving lessons are from 2p-4p every day in the government hall, room 34B and we would like to take this moment to say "Don't play in traffic" |

I like that fact that it is an unspoken agreement between anyone who jumps in a LAV and the driver that in all probability they will both go down in a flaming scrap heap.
Still, people do it. The free LAV is spot on. |

How does a merc sign up for driving lessons? Is there a test? Should I leave my AV nades at home or can I juggle them for the class? |

I find it so funny when I can time my LAV blowing up, taking out an enemy, and kamikaze-ing myself all in one violent swoop, but your plan is just... I don't know.
Maybe there should be a limit on how many free LAV's you can call in a single reincarnation. |
