Who else thinks all squad members should get some amount of WP for Orbital Strikes.
To me this only makes sense because Orbital Strikes are acquired based on an entire Squad's contribution, so the entire Squad should be rewarded with WP from the Orbital Strike Kills instead of only the Squad Leader. |

If you can't be happy for you SQ to get a few more kills and WP because he took the time to put a defend order and do a few more things well get out of the squad. These are one of the moments where you just gotta be happy for your SQ and maybe he put it on you that also means you get more WP's. |

seen it happen, because if you are laying down damage before the strike hits then you get assists... so it's already doable |

Only if the 50wp from each kill got split between all the members of the squad, meaning if you had 5 members everyone only gets 10wp per kill. It'd be like sharing mission rewards with a fleet in EVE, but should also be optional, meaning the SL can share only if he chooses to. |

I agree, but I think the we should not go toward second strike, or second strike costs more wp. |

I would argue that any WP earned from an orbital shouldn't count towards the next orbital. Then squaddies can get the assist points without the risk of infini-orbitals. |

If the WP accumulated in an Orbital Strike were divided up between squad members, this would have no bearing, as the squad would still be receiving the same amount as one does under the current system, the only difference is each squad member receives a portion instead of all going to the SL.
Right now WP earned in an orbital count toward the next orbital so It would be no different in that respect.
I wouldn't mind if didn't count as actual kills for the SL either. Maybe CCP could name it something else entirely such as
Squad Offensive + #WP (basic kill)
Squad Offensive (Vehicle) Destruction + #WP
Squad Offensive Assist + #WP
Then they could track this in the End of Match Screen to give players an idea of how well their entire squad performed. |
