Hi, I keep getting an HTTP error 403 when Dust tries to patch. I can do everything else on my ps3 that requires an internet connection but for whatever reason I'm getting this error and I can't find ANY information on this, i have scoured the internet for hours now looking for solutions. Any advice or help would be appreciated. |

Hi, I'm from DUST dev team. Thank you for post the problem to us.
I need more info about this issue: 1. Can you restart your PS3 to see whether it will happen again?
2. Where did you meet the error? in the PS3 menu or DUST in game? A screenshot will be very helpful.
3. If it happens during the PS3 utility, could you tell us your IP address?
Thank you very much |

I've tried restarting numerous times. What happens is when i click on the game to start it, it wants me to update it to 3.05. I click ok and it automatically signs me out to initiate the update. After 10 seconds i get the HTTP error 403 and it closes the game. I've tried perhaps 12 times. I can do everything else i usually do on the ps3, such as watching netflix. That's whats confusing about it. Thanks for the response. Much appreciated.
EDIT ip is 192.168.1.68 |

Thanks for the quick reply. BTW. It is the IP in you LAN, not the external one. You can get IP from http://www.whatsmyip.org/. Opening it with PS3 or the PC in the same router are both fine. It seems like a network issue when downloading patch file from SONY rather than a DUST client/server problem. Any way, we will fix it. |

Not for nothing, but you should never ask for someone's outside IP address so that they post it in a public forum. You guys have a trouble ticket system and should have directed him there to procure such information. That brings me to my second point- you should never need someone's outside IP address for ANY REASON.
******* lame.
To post your outside IP address on a public forum is just asking for bad trouble. Don't do it, no matter who asks you. |
