This is a bug that is pretty unique and I believe these are the parameters needed to reproduce it.
- Get an LAV that can take a couple good hits and a friendly (mine was a heavy) as the turret gunner
- Get killed shot out of the driver seat of the LAV
- Have your friend save the LAV, drive it away and back to a letter where you respawn (make sure to pick the same suit, not sure if that's a factor or not, I was using the Dren Logi)
- Your friend drives up, switch back to turret
- Enter LAV
- You will instantly notice that your LAV is permanently frozen and you can't move it.
- Don't worry it's only frozen for you. You can get back out and have your friend drive it around. Your friend and the LAV will be invisible to you. Great ain't it?
- Fix? have your friend drive up to you and get out, search about and O should pop up to recall vehicle. Call another in.
This is has happened twice to me. The first time I thought it was just the console starting to frag out / out of sync issues but then it happened again another day after a fresh restart. Had no lag and the scenario above resulted in the LAV being visually stuck in one spot on my screen even though everything else in the world was running fine.

Happened to me while I was the driver, and hadn't died. This is definitely a major bug, and I'd like to see CCP let us know they know about it, and are at least looking into it. I don't expect a fix immediately, because I'd assume it's a problem with coding. I say that because while I know how to turn on and operate a computer, that's the extent of my knowledge. |

this happens to me too often, and it makes my LLAV unusable. just today it happened after running three people over simultaneously  . you need to fix this, its game breaking and i hate getting my 200k lav stuck in the middle of the road with no way for me to drive it. |

Confirmed - also if you're shot while gunning and the LAV is driven by your friend (note: you have to own the LAV)
Location of LAV on screen will be largely useless, as it will show in wrong location on HUD and radar. |

Driving by myself yesterday, saw a duo of red in the open so drove towards them... Got stuck literally 0.5 meters from them and couldn't move, was going at about 75% roughly speed, no obstacles, hit an invisible wall, didn't take any dmg, couldn't move. Got out and back in about 20 times before they finally killed me. |

Seen this happen all the time with dropships, but I never knew how to reproduce it. I just knew it always involved people dying and then being unable to see me, because it always happens when I'm picking somebody up on a ground spawn after a respawn. Well, now I know it's if they die while in the ship. |

I have flown for the last year in Dust and never seen a DS frozen. LAV is pretty common now though. |
