When you point at an enemy the numbers and suit type show up properly now?
Or the flaylock actually locks on to people. |

This is a bit silly. You're not supposed to aim your Flaylock directly at the target unless he's a fatty that's relatively close. |

Both. Homing variant won't be coming in soon though.
The numbers are not supposed to show up unless they're in range.

By former he was referring to the numbers and suit type when you target a merc, otherwise he would have said the latter |

As a recent convert to the Church of Tiny Explosions, I am concerned that a homing Flaylock would either be crazy OP or completely useless. It's hard to imagine how it could work fairly. |

It's hard to imagine how it could work fairly. I run flaylock and see a danger in having a homing variant, unless its a low damage variant. |

Honestly just forget the homing version. Seriously CCP, just don't do it. The thing is great like it is. Please, please don't **** it up by changing it. |

This!!
It's a good gun if you know how to use it, and it has enough drawbacks (range, splash damage, non-straight flight path) to not make it OP. It's one of the few guns where I think CCP doesn't need to do anything and they deserve kudos for getting that one right.
Only fits a very specific playstyle though...which is fine with me as I also use knives which are in the same "special situations" camp.
CCP should focus on reducing lag, improve hit detection, mouse aiming and fix the TAR compared to the other guns...instead of working on a gun that's pretty much perfectly balanced like the flaylock. |
