Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
But I have to say I've hated you a lot less than you all deserve recently for the absolute bliss I've experienced in witnessing the chaos of recent events in Molden Heath from the comfort of my 257th, 1400ft2, luxury penthouse while lounging on my seal-skin sofa covered in hides of the now-extinct snow-leopard and stuffed with 100% pure organic-cloned DoDo down.
I thought the madness of ground forces on the rise during the Caldari GÇ£conflictGÇ¥ was entertaining enough, especially after hearing about one of them trying to off Heth. Even better was the sudden insurgence of Minmatar ground-based assault squads apparently attempting to pay homage to their former Amarr masters by painting newly ransacked cities and facilities a lovely shade of gold with their ****.
Oh, but no, I was still angry, until this past week which has been a rockin' blast thanks to a few thousand people who have obtained discovered, stolen, hijacked, and copied technology to give ground forces an inexhaustible supply of instant conscious-transfer clones. And of course, the PMCs who decided to take advantage of this technology... and the inevitable mini-wars between them becoming real messy real fast.
I love it.
Several well-known PMCs made a strong showing, having already discussed with one another inside and outside the major large alliances about location scouting and precedent when it was learned the region of Molden Heath would be put up for an open land-grab by Concord.
Most stuck to their plans with STB taking a large chunk, 100% in fact, of Besateoden. Their alliance in turn flows into Eoldulf where Tritan have been observed opposing Ahrendee Mercenaries, OSG Planetary Operations and allies GunFall Mobilization, Subdreddit, and a handful of fringe corporations.
ROFL alliance made a strong showing in Elfrard with some other smaller corps staking claims and then bickering amongst themselves. I'm sure ROFL is enjoying their tiny little show between Darkstar and Chimera going at it on Egbinger almost as much as I'm enjoying the whole wide big-screen view. Not to mention Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunters failing to make good on more than a couple aide contracts already.
I have to say, this has been absolute hell watching Chimera and Darkstar go at it back and forth. I'm particularly fascinated by the hundreds of millions of ISK involved in assaulting individual districts which still have yet to fall to Darkstar offenses. Just recently they gave up attacking The Aurum Grinder's single independent district after losing to a crushing defense of off-world allies.
Cronos landed heavily across two constellations in Almur and Fittakan, and have been commanding their districts against nearly constant invasion attempting to adjust their own planetary timers out of synch with likely surrounding invaders. Hellstorm has been feeling the heat from Seraphim Initiative and BetaMax but has been able to hold under mounting pressures on Bosena IX. Recently Nyain San made a move on Altbrard, claiming a district and is now under full retaliation for breaking Cronos's complete command of the sector.
EoN and Orion both attempted to stake claims to Hrober in Tartatven which lead to immediate conflict as both decided simultaneously that such a competitor could not be tolerated and thus grabbed up nearly everything else in the constellation to begin immediately waging war on one another. Fringe elements of Chimera were also caught up in conflict as EoN decided to take over districts in Muttokon to solidify their power in Tartatven.
This is probably the best bit of everything I've heard recently and I'm sure someone out there will claim I support one or the other, and that is why I hate you. All of you.
You don't see beyond anything but your tiny little speck of ground. And what's sad is that it's even worse for the bigger guys. I know tiny little corps who have one district and one district alone and have no intention of growing or spreading and just want a staging area to do their jobs as mercenaries. To them I say, keep on keepin' on... but you're gonna get squashed. You know it, I know it, your enemies know it. But at least make it a good showing, otherwise I'm making you pay for my damn popcorn.
The EoN v Orion conflict has degenerated rather quickly with Orion basically being cut down to Delta Force and Rebelles a Quebec, the latter of whom have been abandoned by their DF allies to their fate as EoN just steamrolls their installations and outposts. Unfortunate news really, I had hoped this would go on longer. I had hoped this primarily because DF has made a very fatal mistake early on in their career of planetary conquest for riches and fame. Well, they've made several, but let's get the good one out of the way.
Delta Force attacked Negative Feedback the very day that NF placed two cargo hubs on Hrober VII as a mere storage facility for resources to support their mercenary efforts in Molden Heath.
Now, I'm not one to promote one corp or to down on another, but for Delta Force to claim to not know about the Imperfects reeks of misplaced assertions, downright ignorance, and really really poor spin doctoring.
One more mistake Delta Force has committed is acting without full support of their alliance concerning several recent actions and decisions. The entire landgrab for Orion was represented by Rebelles a Quebec and Delta Force who did make a promising showing in the initial gold-rush days, but have quickly been stamped out by EoN while spending resources on assaults and covert infiltration of EoN corporations only to have these networks be immediately destroyed by premature usage of the sleeper cells installed.
Now, premature for certain, I imagine Concord enacting some kind of GÇ£ruleGÇ¥ or GÇ£policyGÇ¥ to attempt to prevent what spacers refer to as AWOXING in the future. Personally, I love it. Bring on the madness.

The unfortunate truth is one we must face here now which is that this last bit wasn't even Delta Force's mistake, but rather the mistake of the people for whom they made the mistake of creating their secret carebear pact amongst one another at mistake without the mistake of mistake mistaking their mistaking fellow alliance mistake corporations.................... MISTAKE!
Carebear allegiances are already funny enough. They're even funnier when you know that both parties imagine they're taking advantage of the other only to out-wait them both and see who really wears the pants in the relationship. I'll give you a hint in this case: it's the one that DOESN'T start with GÇ£DelGÇ¥, end with GÇ£orceGÇ¥, and have GÇ£tafGÇ¥ in the middle.
Orion, or at the very least Delta Force as their agreement with Cronos doesn't seem to expand to protecting RaQ holdings, imagines they're hiding behind some powerful shield in Cronos, specifically Seraphim Initiative and BetaMax, against the endless onslaught of EoN and even Negative Feedback. In reality the only group benefiting from the relationship in any way is Cronos themselves.
By supporting Orion defenses they allow themselves some leeway against an inevitable conflict with EoN as well as keeping EoN resources bottle-necked and unable to stockpile which would lead to an eventual long, drawn-out siege. I would say clever tactic, but we've already seen proxy wars about a hundred thousand times already. Anyone who didn't know from day one what was happening in Tartatven has no place being recloned in my New Eden. But if it were my New Eden I'd have a harem of Amarr and Gallente female slaves wrestling each other in a giant vat of Whipped Quafe Cream while debating the benefits and detriments of slavery vs individual freedoms on personal and social development in Proustian prose.
But it's not, so I don't, and you get to continue existing for one more day. It just reminds me of how much I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
Recently I came to run across various corp aligned GÇ£War ReportsGÇ¥ and GÇ£News BulletinsGÇ¥ coming from PMCs across Molden Heath. The most entertaining bit is some of the poorest written sensationalist propaganda I've seen in 20,000 years. Seriously, this stuff is just awesome in a biblical sense.
With my fascination at the little shadow-war via Delta Force I was amazed at how open and honest their report was for the actual situation there in Tartatven. If you can read past all the blatant propaganda.
As I predicted when I was told it was Delta Force assaulting Imperfect holdings on Hrober, Negative Feedback retaliated in force taking full ownership and command of Hrober V within days. Then Delta Force attempt to spin it that EoN have been hiring NF to assault and disrupt Orion districts. They ignore the fact that EoN did not have members present for these contracts and did not take control of the districts following Negative Feedback's brief siege. If anyone were paying for a service it makes little sense for them to also sell the rights to the districts being claimed.
But the PR team for Delta Force need significantly more education in the usage and writing of rhetoric before even attempting to make logical sense in their propaganda.
Their most recent article, poorly written overall, starts as the standard, GÇ£We are awesome, bow down!GÇ¥ nationalist mentality, particularly in lauding their accomplishment at podding EvE spacer and CEO Kane Spero. Their self congratulatory pat on the back quickly degenerates, however, to quite openly stating in the final lines: GÇ£Dear God help us! We're dying out here!!!GÇ¥.
In the mean time, so focused on their own endeavours, Delta Force and their corporate buddies in Cronos as I still doubt the two alliances are blue-listed completely with one another, have completely ignored the pummeling received by RaQ and multiple districts falling to EoN after only a couple days of assault.
Cronos in the meanwhile was expected to try to hide it's standing as an alliance on the whole but that quickly reversed when What the French were seen to take a district on Muttokon as of just last night. Seraphim Initiative and Grupo de Asalto Chacal followed quickly behind taking districts in Audesder and Hrober from various third parties and supposedly one account of subterfuge to take some minor EoN alliance corp.
Hilarious you all think, but a strategic catastrophe. Maybe Cronos only intend to show Concord how completely uncontrolled this newest policy is and as such how very deified holy holey... kitten'd up the absolute lack of deployment control is. If so, then kudos to 'em. Still, this is all new technology and it's bound to have hitches, but wasting off already installed spies for a few feet of ground seems like the most idiotic of reactions to discovering an advantage this powerful over your opponent. But then again, we're not dealing with the sharpest set of spoons in the children's play set here.

Meanwhile the minor corps and alliances in the neighborhoods of ROFL continue their bickering while ROFL secures its positioning in the sector. Chimera, consisting of 5o1st, New Age Empire, and The Aurum Grinder and Company have been facing off with the Darkstar Army's teams from Unholy Legion of Darkstar and Dust Core.
This has been a lot of entertainment to watch because while both alliances are relatively small, Chimera has the most apt name of anything I've seen in recent times. These are a half a dozen tiny corporations, ranging from 100 to 80 to even 10 members in them, and those 10 guys aren't always fielding whenever X corp has a battle. They just pull from one another for whoever is available and they seem to work. They somehow manage a balance against the more militant organization of Darkstar, with occasional losses but more significant defensive victories.
Darkstar has accused Chimera of calling in GÇ£ringersGÇ¥ and hiring open-source mercs to fight their battles but the word is these members all decided against developing a single corporation to pull of this specific strategy on purpose. They do call in non-allied privateers most of whom seem to understand the alliance's tactics and are able to compensate and work with them to achieve victories.
Darkstar's most recent assault on The Aurum Grinder finally ceased briefly after several days of siege which racked up several hundred million ISK in clones, equipment, and gear. It is likely Darkstar is feeling some heat from ROFL who seem to have no current interest in Chimera owned districts buffering Elfrard from Tartatven but has taken note of Darkstar commanding more than a couple tactically significant districts across two systems.
Chimera in the meantime has lost a few fringe districts to EoN who claim the hostilities are not focused on Chimera and their allied corporations directly but merely a gathering of central Tartatven resources in order to support and facilitate their future plans against Cronos.
Still, I'd expect at this point that EoN is so caught up with recent Cronos invasions that it's not even looking off the edge of Muttokon where ROFL sits across the expanse, just biding their time. The question is they head toward Tartatven with EoN and NF, or better yet head up toward Zion TCD, OSG Planetary Response, and Subdreddit who are all too busy with trying to solidify their district standings in Elodulf that they'd likely be blind to a sudden in-rush of ROFL corporate landings.
I doubt anyone would expect it because nobody would be clever enough to do it. I hate you with such a seething rage that it keeps me up at night and I'm forced to beat Gallentean prostitutes senseless with my **** at 3AM before ejaculating out my window on top of the worthless scum and refuse 2 kilometers below, whom I honestly presume consist primarily of most of you all sleeping off hangovers from five-dollar bottles of cheap bathtub wine. Stop being so damn stupid! All of you! I would say I expect more of you but I don't. Cronos, EoN, and ROFL especially... I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
Quick bit of news though it's not surprising in the least and thus just makes me angrier with all of you with its agonizingly painful predictability.
Delta Force have been nearly wiped out by Negative Feedback spreading across Hrober very quickly which has been a joy to watch. Like poetry. Delta Force lost their planetary lock-downs and in turn the three mega-teams from Imperfects, Internal Error, and Nyain San all rolled out the big guns and claimed the entire planet of Hrober V and former Orion districts on Hrober VIII within 48 hours their initial offensive.
It's clear from this that Cronos realizes that supporting Delta Force is a lost cause and they're cutting ties to avoid any complications from somehow offending Negative Feedback and in turn going to have to go after EoN directly if they mean to deal with the burgeoning alliance without having them come down on Cronos's own home territory.
Let chaos reign, from sea to shining sea.
On top of all of this, insiders (and by insiders I mean slackers with a penchant for just enough liquid courage to oil the gears of their speaking holes) the bed of Cronos is not all silk and perfume either. WTF is reported to have GÇ£accidentallyGÇ¥ attacked a couple allies on various planets. Maybe they found the technology and re-cloned Napoleon again.
Meanwhile Grupo Assaulto de Chacal seems to have an agreement made on thin ice as their spacers are red-listed by most of the rest of the Cronos alliance. Cronos may have opponents and enemies they can see directly at the moment but at some point they'll start to turn on their own districts and it's quite obvious who will be the first to get mauled for a poor choice of bedfellows.
Oddly, GAC has had little to no response to the Cronos aide of Orion or their current open assaults on EoN. Either the corp itself is not interested or, more likely, they're being left out of the loop by their fellow alliance members and left to stagnate in early grabbed territories.
Way to be about as unpredictable as a rock Cronos. It would seem BetaMax already wasted the entire alliance's stockpile of fun-points on menial corporate infiltration within the first few engagements and nobody else has even bothered with the ploy again now that most major corporations are shut down to public hiring leaving a lot of true starving mercs and freelancers high and dry with nowhere to go and nowhere to make connections.
While I accept it was entertaining, congratulations on further stagnating the community pool of people to kill. I Hate it Here.
Welcome to New Eden.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
Lots of news feeder rage and hate going on but there's a lot of lip-service where it's unneeded and unwanted from the Peanut Gallery and not even a hushed whisper from where it really counts. So let's go through the scrub list and clear out the bullshit to try to explain to you mental defectives what's going on out in Molden Heath currently with PMC's going at it like it's Independence Day on Heinmatar.
Hellstorm would appear to be catching some flak from all directions it would seem. Their most direct opponent being Sever True Blood who it would seem are seeking a slow crawl into Cronos territory rather than going directly for the big boys. For a crew that primarily focuses on, GÇ£See head. Pull trigger. Kill target.GÇ¥ it's a clever usage of that atrophying bullet magnet we often doubt they carry between their ears. On the other hand, perhaps it's due to their unwillingness to field any of their sub-par teams for fear of harming their progress and reputation. Good on 'em for that mentality.
Unlike alliances shattering once the startup chaos starts to ebb, it will be ecstatic bliss to watch one of the single most formerly empowered and threatening corporations in our corner of space slowly rot from the inside out with inability to cope with the large-scale responsibilities and the inherent levels of mistrust and paranoia required to handle such a corporate entity here in New Eden and eventually cave in on itself like so much over-baked souffle. Not that I know precisely what over-baked souffle is, my meals are some of the best across a dozen regions with the bill being footed by my employers who apparently feel its worth their while to feed and clothe me in order to hear what a bunch of idiots they are on a bi-weekly basis. But I digress.
Hellstorm in the meantime refuses to take the bait from STB, sticking to their apparent ideology of simply being a land-based gun for hire in Molden Heath. Whether they intend to expand into more Cronos territory is yet to be seen and certain little birds have suddenly gone silent on the matter for this reporter unfortunately following some heavy casualties, though not enough to knock them off their perch on Bosena XI.
What Hellstorm has declared, and quite publicly, is that after adding to the constant public humiliation faced by the former terror PMC known as Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunters, Hellstorm is seeking to turn the tables in a direct offensive against PFBH. This could be a response to PFBH hostile assaults or it could be Hellstorm is simply feeling too much heat in the pressure cooker situation between STB and Cronos and see a jump across the region to the ROFL stomping grounds as a possible escape, particularly with ROFL currently still focused on cleaning house in Elfrard.
I for one look forward to this now more than anything recently. It shows Hellstorm finally willing to take the offensive on SOMEONE while at the same time will put PFBH in an even brighter spotlight than they were before everything that's gone down in Molden Heath. It's a pair of recognizable names in the ring together though both had only above average public notice due, seemingly in part, to their relatively smaller sizes and independence from major alliance forces.
As for PFBH, overall, the news from their end has been rather disappointing to say the least. With their acceptance of numerous mercenary contracts and almost as many freelancing and assault defeats the only thing PFBH has done in the past weeks is to prove that they're best hired if any corp wishes to intentionally lose a match without expending any of their own equipment resources. They could be bothered to say something about the situation but are more tight-lipped than Jamyl.......'s... vaults.
Personally, I'd like to imagine they have a clever plan: Take a lot of jobs; Fail at all of them with style; Then, once the whole region imagines them to be a minor nuisance at best, come back and hijack the same districts from the original contracting company for themselves with anyone installed there now sitting on weakened defenses and resources and PFBH fully aware of their combat tactics on the field. Devious and clever well beyond PFBH's normal M.O. which is how I know it's only my imagination. PFBH do their talking with the business end of a weapon, and their only thought process between squeeze-trigger, release-trigger, is GÇ£Need... higher... RoF.GÇ¥
As for Cronos themselves, they seem committed to the fight against EoN. Keep it up guys! I really want to see the serious internal Cronos scandal which won't occur until their thirst for blood outside their immediate holdings is... Quafed (I get paid double for putting this nonsense in there but I'm pointing it out to you so you can all be aware that I am selling out, but that it's for a good cause. Hookers and stims don't come cheap you know, well the proper ones anyway). Still, with STB to their backs, and Hellstorm and even possible open hostility from upstart Negative Feedback member Nyain San from within, it would seem Cronos has their fair share of targets before turning on one another. Truly a shame.
And, when I say serious internal scandal, I don't mean a minor rug-burn from a handful of Grief University infiltrating a single match. We all know what I mean. I mean absolute madness and chaos which is just as likely to be triggered by target-happy spacers whose ground-side and space-side red and blue lists don't quite match as it is by a miss-directed district attack on the ground, or even by a few careless words. |

A quick note from Nyain San. Officially the newest member of Negative Feedback, NF seem to have left NS with a long leash. They've been quite active abroad taking ground from CRONOS and ROFL at the same time in Fittikan, Elfrard, as well as setting up shop next door to the rest of their Negative Feedback brethren in the Hrober system in Tartatven. With all this going on from NS one has to question whether they are acting independently out of cocky irresponsibility or merely testing the waters for setting up more NF base districts all across Molden Heath.
Personally, I actually elect for the latter and more intelligent move in this case in regards to NF. They know what they're doing and if they plan on acting, as they promote, as a true gun-for-hire alliance on the whole then they're gonna need to prove they can hold their own against assaults in the most hostile of environments. Maintaining local district clusters right in the midst of the largest PMC alliance systems across Molden Heath shows the capacity of their force with more than just words. But, it could be that I've just got a soft side for a bunch of lunatics who just want to ruin someone's day for a case of Quafe-ultra, a few boxes of ammo, an unlabeled jar of colorful pills and a fist-full of ISK. Hey, that's the start of a perfect weekend in my opinion.
But instead I'm stuck here listening to countless feeder loops of the same nonsense, bull, and propaganda-spreading because apparently it's my GÇ£jobGÇ¥. I wish I could truly express my seething rage for you all who can't get this **** sorted yourselves and tell you exactly how much I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
It would also seem all the old songs were right. The south will rise again! Rise into some serious levels of debt. Southern Legion actually pleased me with proper reports of massive ISK losses to maintain assault on ZION. The SL who are strong core members of the ROFL alliance, have incurred an estimated 2 billion in ISK losses in distanced assaults on Zion territory according to average cost expenditure calculations.
Why does this please me? I have no idea. I think it's just that someone from ROFL is looking forward at expansion already while their own constellation isn't completely secured. SL seems to be tending to this affair as well alongside allied Kill Em Quick corp, rooting out a few smaller alliances and corporation holdings like the previously mentioned Darkstar Army. But c'mon ROFL, where you at? Death Dealers? L.O.T.I.S.? Pro Hic? Tritan? As you might say, GÇ£Do you guys even lift?GÇ¥ (Also, who started that nonsense on the feeders? I think I hate him more than the rest of you worthless shambling GÇ£social networkingGÇ¥ zombies.) AND, as for SL, they're going after the largest target available to them at the same time. Expenses be damned! Go big or go home.... or be Southern Legion and do both.
As for the rest of the news out of ROFL's sector of space I think I have to wait for a proper confirmation because what was reported to me last night was simply unfathomable. I've seen a Minmatar loading bay worker cut off a foreman's hand for making a joke about whipping the underlings. I've witnessed a Caldari CEO auctioning the rights to his daughter's virginity. I've been personally present for a display of Amarrian public GÇ£justiceGÇ¥ which to me seemed more of a deistic sacrifice of two dozen GÇ£heathenGÇ¥ slaves.
Okay, so that was all more shocking and disturbing, and this only made me tilt my head slightly and say GÇ£Wha?GÇ¥ and rub my eyes before reading it again. But that said, I need more than a brief two-line mail to trust a statement like the one I received and possibly injure any feasible credibility.
Not that I have any because at best you lot are a bunch of empty drones who can't think for yourselves and actually believe the propaganda your corps write for themselves while denouncing anything your opponents say. I'll concur the second is good policy but it just pisses me off to see what mindless flunkies you all are and makes me think, I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
Where do I start... Seriously, I just don't know anymore. At least a few of you have made me start guessing but other than a few very random incursions there's little to comment in the way of news to be perfectly honest.
Okay, so Hellstorm made good on their promise to assault and take former PFBH territories on Kadlina... technically. We really can't say GÇ£takeGÇ¥ to this nonsense. Following constant and endless humiliation, the prime members of PFBH have abandoned their former corporation and scattered to the winds in search of greener pastures. Or in the case of top brass, hijacking the corporate saving in order to buy their way into Negative Feedback member corporations.
Not satisfied enough to leave their former corporation to its fate at the hands of Hellstorm and ROFL, they sabotaged their own facilities bringing utter collapse of the corporate infrastructure. I would say GÇ£Well playedGÇ¥ but let's all be honest here, in the past month PFBH have made themselves the butt of the joke on more than a few internal memos region-wide and anyone of relevance therein has a deeply sullied reputation to overcome under their new employment not to mention fellow mercenaries keeping a constant eye on these new and untrustworthy individuals. Whether Hellstorm will take all former holdings of PFBH remains to be seen following their initial incursion but with their corporation in utter shambles it seems the territory is pretty much up for grabs: first come, first served.
ZionTCD has decided enough is enough with GunFall Mobilization and wiped them from Mimiror. While allied STB have shown no interest in CRONOS invasion they are slowly creeping up to ROFL's front door, spreading their fingers into Elodulf and aiding in the removal of a few not insignificant corporate holdings there.
Ahrendee have also been on the move throughout the constellation, wiping some smaller corps out of the way as well. Whether these groups are planning an offensive against ROFL has yet to be announced openly but a carebear agreement is unlikely to be formally declared any time soon.
ROFL finally cleans house sweeping more than a couple small corps and alliances out from under the sofa and finishing the virtual obliteration of Orion Alliance, among others, which EoN began weeks ago. Still, a handful maintain wavering command, entrenched within a few cracks in Egbinger. At this point I would invite them to join the rest of the region in the madness of proper alliance war but it seems it's decided not to wait and come knocking on ROFL's front door with the previously mentioned Nyain San maintaining hold on a district in Klingt and WTF moving in on Egbinger as well.
That last part is the only interesting tidbit at the moment, because while it confirms members of WTF and GAC freelancing for ROFL in-system assaults it also leads to the question of CRONOS looking to take a foothold in ROFL home territory, expanding their influence across four constellations. With CRONOS's pure size on their side and struggling command by all but Southern Legion, it leads one to consider whether there's really any true hand-holding between the two giant alliances or if CRONOS is creeping their way up to total regional dominance through strong political gains as well as devious subterfuge.
And to that I say, I hate you. All this picnics and rainbows nonsense CRONOS is trying to pull across the region makes me ill with ire. Not for CRONOS maintaining the tactic of supporting hostilities between GÇ£common enemiesGÇ¥ to allow for easier invasion and takeover in the future as they clearly intended in supporting hostile escalation between Orion and EoN to destroy both alliances, but anger at the rest of you for having your visors slammed so tight that you don't even see it.
As to CRONOS I do have to applaud. Their use of resources has dominated their home constellations re-taking their lost district from Nyain San and CRONOS continues making investments in very long-term progress and absolute regional command. Everyone, just lay down and enjoy your croissants and baguettes and hope they don't come stomping into your own home in the middle of the night. Of course once that happens I'm sure the whole lot of you can join me in voicing aloud, I Hate it Here.
Welcome to New Eden.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
I'm still here! Seriously though, why!? You say one sharp insult, someone next to you throws a bottle, suddenly it's a riot and someone is stomping your head into the ground and carrying you off to the camps like it's 1943. I suppose I have to give thanks to the good folks at Genolution for their response. I had a brief discussion with some of their management who have seen Concord's open land-ownership contracts in Molden Heath as a massive boon to business. And by massive, I mean they couldn't even have begun to predict the demand or profit. We're talking sales nearing 100 billion ISK in just a couple weeks.
They are apparently more than happy to keep the fighting up and get all the free indirect publicity they can in maintaining conflict.
I just thought I should put it out there. If you think you're not being used you're a damn fool. If you think your corp is the worst of it, you have no idea. There are gambling dens for this madness already though the ground-pounders are completely unaware. I'm talking the rich and affluent, standing around plush rooms covered in gold and red velvet, smoke curling through the air as everyone stands, sits, or cheers beside monitors showing little more than death counters like it's the goddamn era of the gladiator. I mean... not that I personally would ever be involved in such abhorrent behavior.
I am Sparticus. Now get out the way of my new chariot! My team just won and I'm on drugs here!!!
Anyway, back to news proper. The Imperfects and SyNergy swap cargo hubs on Hrober. At the same time NF moves more IMPs into former GIANT holdings on the same planet and shuffle GÇ£New Eden's Most WantedGÇ¥ on to one of their own former cargo hubs.
I really have no clue.
If SyN is dealing with NF to sell off Hrober territory then we can presume that their fellow EoN corporate allies are likely doing the same. What the costs and what the benefits are, that, I'm sure, happens entirely behind closed doors. Not much chance of this reporter getting the inside there, unfortunately.
It does bring up the question though, is NF actually fighting against EoN in their likely endless conflict with Cronos? Are they freelancing against Cronos? Are they just feeding the flames to maintain conflict between the two and go for merc contracts wherever they may benefit? This last seems far more like CEO Kane Spero's M.O., taking into account his insight and general long-term planning.
This factor alone may make him and SyN CEO Mavado v Noriega suddenly unlikely and even unknowing bedfellows. We already know that both are openly voiced against a regional peace, even at the cost of their own lives... quite literally. It makes sense for NF, who promote themselves as a mercenary organization for hire. We'll just have to wait and see where NF goes from here really, unless they genuinely don't mind me taking them up on their offer for dinner some evening.
Having faced down three other alliances and still engaged in hostilities across borders with CRONOS, it's unlikely EoN has just made room to appease NF, but one can never be sure in matters this politically explosive. That said, I think we can all be assured that whoever made their move first, both are acting in what they feel is their own benefit. It's simply how these two alliance-keystone corporations work. But you all know how I really feel about that carebare nonsense. How do you think it makes me feel when it happens between two of the most interesting alliances in the region? Still, for the both of them, chaos, flames, and death are definitely to their benefit.
A side note, but NF member Nyain San appears to continue their independent actions, overtaking a second district in the heart of ROFL territory from alliance member United Pwnage Service. We haven't heard much from UPS, but NS seems intent on carving out their own territory apart from their alliance holdings on Hrober. |

Speaking of chaos, flames, and death, numerous members of the NF alliance have recently called out SVER True Blood corporation to come out of hiding in Besateodon. It's just as possible this is simply a ploy to draw STB away from backing their allies ZION in their continuing conflicts in Eoldulf as it is to keep waving the Imperfects challenge to take on all comers.
Whatever it may be, there is no love-loss between the two corporations historically. There are countless accounts of inter-PMC conflict between members from the lowest tier grunt all the way up to leadership. STB seems clearly willing to take up the gauntlet from a defensive position, championing their first victory to their long-time opponent but whether they intend to strike back, only time will tell.
Hellstorm moves into former Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunterz districts after the latter was basically destroyed through internal corruption. Their districts on Kadlina actually sat unoccupied for a brief time while Hellstorm organized new district rulings and transfer of personnel. It's almost surprising no one else noticed but I doubt anyone else was actually watching that closely to begin with after the confirmation of PFBH's disbanding, removal of market shares, and almost immediate reformation of only a handful of former members under new relabeling of the old brand. Maybe they should have named themselves PFBC; Pink Fluffy Bunnies: Classic anyone?
The most significant members of PFBH shifted over to Negative Feedback's corporations only reinforcing a stellar power of incredible soldiers with long histories and experience behind them. Many more scattered to various major corps across Molden Heath and only a handful were left behind to try to pick up the pieces. Now we'll just have to see if Hellstorm can tolerate the temperature down across the border as Southern Legion flip things on their head against this crew of busybodies now moving in on ROFL territory.
It's one thing to blink out of existence and reform in your own body just moments later. Like just passing out blind drunk and waking up magically without a hangover. Totally different to be the same mind in an all together, but not completely, different body. Thank you mysterious benefactors. Very strange, and all this new tech Genolutions advisory staff are telling me about scares the hell out of me for what the future may hold. At least they gave me a blanket, because that really helps... I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
Being on the run is interesting.
Almost as interesting as tensions breaking proper with war official between ROFL and Unclaimed as STB and ZION both make strong assaults into Elfrard and Eoldulf. Unfortunately for both corporations it seems neither ROFL or the small-dog alliances interested in the area have any tolerance for these former titans as Pro Hic Immortalis disrupt ZION dominance on Mimiror while innumerable others hijack and offend STB holdings throughout the constellations.
The Imperfects have finally broken STB's stronghold on Meildolf. And now, despite initial victories against the unstoppable force of Negative Feedback's leadership corporation, the blood is in the water and nearly everyone on the east side can smell it and is going for kill, or at least any piece of the pie they can grab a hold. STB in the mean time withers under internal frustrations and evidence of hiring outside aide to mitigate their own combat losses. This behavior leads many to feel STB has simply lost faith in their own ability and utter collapse may soon follow.
While all this has been going on, allied ZION have managed to maintain control in limbo, managing to take two for one districts through Eoldulf, STB are suffering heavy casualties and with reports of a Scorched Earth policy on Meildolf, with Imperfects moving troops en masse onto the planet. Though this is unlikely to lead to a full withdraw from STB we can expect extreme casualties on both sides as Imperfects and other elements take note of STB's heavy bleeding.
The only question is whether STB will continue to hire outside mercenary help or beg the assistance of their slightly more successful ally. At this point their plans to move in on smaller corporation holdings in Eoldulf alongside their closest ally seems their only chance at maintaining any ground holdings in the region but this puts them up against fringe elements of ROFL as well as corporations such as Ahrendee, OSG, and Outer.Heaven, none of which will tolerate another usurper attempting to hijack their properties.
To speak of their success one must note that while STB has lost absolute dominance on Meildolf, allied ZION have accomplished the same to the ROFL colossus known as Southern Legion, hijacking an area of Aeditide V. Southern Legion after gaining primary dominance over all ROFL holdings in Elfrard have been quiet for a while, still dealing with new neighbors Hellstorm after the latter took control of abandoned PFBH outposts on Kadlina IV.
One-Armed Bandits finally have the last remnants of their land holdings on Ennur taken from them by virtual unknown Psygod9 who have also been allowed ruling over former L.O.T.I.S. holdings on Klingt. Though they've managed to take their own territory, proving themselves against one of the weakest corporations involved in the early land-grab is little evidence of ability to maintain district control.
OSG Planetary Operations in the area have taken a page from the Seraphim Initiative playbook and withdrawn allied GunFall Mobilization members from Skarkon, leaving OSG to manage all future holdings operations. With their absolute dominance by ZION and OSG losing territory to unknown elements, it would seem that command is set on personally maintaining control over any remnants left to the alliance as a whole.

Speaking on Seraphim Initiative, it would seem they have decided on a complete micromanagement system for land territories within the CRONOS alliance as a whole. Auxiliaries have handed over territories to SI, as well as BetaMax slowly succeeding property through Fittikan and Almur as well while still holding off assaults from EoN to their south.
There are accusations by EoN that many of these corps are merely being used as a temporary shield by their more powerful alliance members to hold off the endless EoN siege in the war between the two. This assertion maintains credibility as SI, GAC, and WTF have been seen reinforcing allied holdings against the EoN assaults over the past weeks and it appears that, at least of the three, SI is fed up with the inability by lesser alliance members to maintain proper ground defenses against the rather haphazard assaults by their enemies.
This may be a sign of SI moving towards complete control over CRONOS holdings as they allow EoN to sap off allied resources before moving in to take the reigns themselves. We already noted the same use of the Orion alliance which was utterly decimated in it's war with EoN, completely collapsing nearly all the member corporations in this former alliance. One has to wonder if SI is merely using the same tactic to weed out their own alliance members at this point before taking complete and absolute control over the majority CRONOS shareholdings as well.
For all that's happened this past week it would seem only the Imperfects have anything to comment on as they implement full assault on STB holdings as well as making tidy profit selling off claimed territories on Hrober to small allied corporations.
What their long-term goals are seem impossible to say as recent news seems that they are, in fact, not the most tactically capable or organized of corporations but rather a collection of perhaps the most disaffected and bellicose madmen in the region backed by some of the most powerful combat equipment on the market today. If this alone is CEO and alliance leader Kane Spero's goal then kudos to him. You have this journalist's seal of approval for keeping the flames of war stoked through the western half of our small region here.
As to the shady gentlemen in the passenger car behind me, good luck sir. It's not as if your presence wasn't noted nearly two hours ago and instructions received on where to take you. Take up your issues with Genolution when you finally wake up and read this because I'll still be here tomorrow if only to tell you and your masters how much I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
I'm going to be perfectly honest, I've spent much of the last few days in a drunken, hallucinatory stupor fighting giant rat people with cheese bullets and chasing a small, flying pink elephant. Then this guy has the gall to get uppity with me for punching his missus in the face. Sir, SIR! Calm down! Don't you realize you're married to a large rodent painted to look like a clown sir? I'm trying to save you here!
Imagine my surprise, then, when I finally wake up in the Grand Heights penthouse suite and load up a dozen feeders on the 86inch plasma wall viewer. Not surprise at randomly waking up in such a luxurious situation which I would never pay for myself. That happens on a weekly basis. No, suffice it to say, I was utterly stunned to discover.... NOTHING!
I know. And believe me, you couldn't be more shocked or upset than I was.
Nearly an hour ignoring the half-naked dark-skinned woman lounging on the balcony outside to realize that Concord is clearly having some serious internal issues. Fleeting messages from pilots across two dozen regions, utterly lost and disconnected from civilization not even able to get to stations for docking. News feeds and broadcasts simply... silent.
I went down across the street to find it wasn't just my own connections, it's everywhere. A familiar face I recognized as a ground mercenary cloned for the Molden Heath battles was harassing people on the street for any information at all. His combat team has a contract up but he hasn't been able to get in contact with them, the transport, or even anyone at the colony base he's supposed to be defending in several hours. For all he knows the fight is over and everyone is already dead.
I asked why he was so frantic on the matter. GÇ£I have to get the bonus, not to mention how it looks for our corp if we lose another defense contract.GÇ¥ Nothing concerning the people there on the ground. I suppose that's just not the concern of a mercenary.Nobody ever asks about the families of the workers of production facilities constantly under attack. No one ever asks who takes care of THEIR sons and daughters after the battle is fought.
Concord is silent on the matter. But, then again, they're currently silent on everything else as well. Occasional snippets break through, keeping feeders live streaming back in my hotel room. I'm still unable to piece together precisely what's happened but it's a universal occurrence affecting everything from interstellar communication to simple local network television broadcasts.
I'm completely in the dark from proper news sources much less my own connections here, and it's an eerie experience. At the same time, it's made me recognize how thoroughly caught up in the current ground acquisition and combat in Molden Heath I myself have become. I need a couple days to get myself sorted, much less the inevitable news crunch once connections and feeders get back up to full speed once more.Until that then, I'm going to have myself a brief moment of silence to ponder, contemplate, and fully appreciate just how much I Hate it Here.
Welcome to New Eden.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
Well, STB has fallen. I'm a goddamn psychic!
Should I be proud of the fact that I'm a freaking clairvoyant? That I called it? Or simply disappointed in the logical and oh-so-predictable inevitability. Precisely as I stated previously, STB was simply incapable of handling themselves as a holding corporation and were constantly seeking outside aide from third parties in their tedious conflict with Negative Feedback.
Personal reports and individual journal entries have been made public during the past couple weeks of combat on STB's former home world but stink of emotional blackmail PR spin to incite region-wide agression against NF. Only recent documents have been released proving that STB have gone pacifist and simply refuse to fight their own battles. Unlikely that they've gone the previous route, corporations system-wide are refusing any STB uprisings within their own districts, much less a call to aide this once former PMC titan.
Rumor seems that former opponent EoN fielded for several STB battles though from the events as they unfolded it would seem they had no real goal in combating NF forces as they stormed Meildolf. Despite a moment of cease-fire between EoN and NF, there were no reports of AWOXING any STB defensive contracts but rather seems that the allied corporations of Teamplayers, Ill Omens, and SyNergy were merely looking for a bit of brief mercenary work between constant bouts with CRONOS.
The honest truth seems most if not all freelance mercenaries involved had no real interest in maintaining STB control and were only there for a quick paycheck on behalf of STB's rapidly dwindling resources. Get what you can out of them while you can because STB's song is rapidly coming to an end. Cue the closing title theme.
Speaking of EoN, after the silent lockdown by Concord, they came out of the darkness teeth bared and guns a-blazin' so to speak. It would seem that a few days of silent meditation, rather than quell their rage, only let EoN build it up into a more focused hostility and combative aggression, forcing CRONOS almost entirely out of their home constellation of Tartatven as well as taking control of several CRONOS districts throughout the constellations of Fittikan and Almur.
With assets very slowly being depleated, the major players of CRONOS continue to slowly whittle away at their subsidiary company holdings with Seraphim Initiative taking control of all former Auxiliary districts and What the French leaving only a small core on Sakulda VI to allied Maphia Clan Corporation.
Now pinned between two alliances who seem to have no focus left but to clamp down on CRONOS, they have begun their own bit of a PR pitty campaign attempting to garner recognition to what is occuring from elements to the east. The only fault herein is that anyone taking notice will recognize CRONOS's fading power as they fail to counterassault EoN's intrusions.
Meanwhile, to the east, ROFL and ZION maintain strong hostilities as the clearly stronger element of the Unclaimed. also begins losing territory to both ROFL and third party elements such as the Vacuum Cleaners LLC who proved themselves a strong opponent in corporation skirmishes prior to the Molden Heath land grab.
Beyond their capacity to tread into ZION territory it seems ROFL still struggles with smaller and more organized alliances and corporations as Hellstorm not only maintains its hold on former PFBH land in Kadlina but pushes back against Kill-Em-Quick by hijacking a district on Egbinger.
KEQ seem to be struggling to maintain hold over more than a couple districts and one has to wonder whether their powerhouse alliance members will enact a total control policy or are simply too caught up in their own conflicts against constant engagements with numerous hostile corporations to even notice, much less offer aide and support.
It's going to be an interesting couple days ahead of us, that's for certain. Especially with labor contracting demands permitting district facility adjustments immediately under new management once hostilities end and a new boss sits in the room upstairs.
Just be careful the beuracracy doesn't screw you guys forcing 48hour double shifts on the new guy's watch or you'll be crying louder than I do when I'm violently awoken by another hooker OD'ing on pink&green in the bathroom, I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
Something has been brought to my attention and I really have no idea how I missed this. I'm really doubtful as to whether it should be shared to the rest of you cretins who are clearly paying even less attention than I am which is why I have to be here in the first place.
You all remember Dust University? Of course you do. Who doesn't know of these guys. The ground and field operations side of EvE University, Dust University is an organization of academics and tactical strategists who have gathered together to attempt to train and educate those newly introduced to the life of a mercenary in the chaotic and frightening world of the various ground PMCs of New Eden.
Everything from hardware to wetware, tactical and strategic training, field movements and commands as well as objective control, some of these guys are among the smartest minds to be found with their feet on the ground, and they exist with one goal, to better those who want to be involved on the planet-side field combat within New Eden in any way shape or form. Basically, they exist to show New Eden that we are better than ourselves. Or at least, they try. They don't care about race, creed, or religion. Political stance, sexual orientation, none of these things affect their opinion of any individual who walks through their doors seeking knowledge.
Following Concord's open land grab in Molden Heath they had intended to simply hold onto a small territory, with no interest in expansion what-so-ever, simply in order to test themselves and new corporations in one-off battles in Hedaleolfarber. Unfortunately, their rapidly grabbed territory was surrounded on all sides by Cronos which had no tolerance for any deviation over full alliance control.
This would be a grim tale enough, and had certain people known I'm sure that more would have charged to a call for aide, but it was all so sudden and Dust University was wiped almost instantly off the map by infiltration teams from a counter organization calling themselves GÇ£Grief UniversityGÇ¥ as well as tireless assaults by various members of CRONOS. I don't care to take sides but this was just low.
That would be the end of our story for Dust University, except for what was revealed to me earlier.
Okay, so it would seem that some time back, shortly following their conflict with Orion; while still combating invasions from CRONOS before turning around that situation and taking the fight to them; while still negotiating with Negative Feedback for what amounts to a highly tentative cease-fire as both parties cut apart the once mighty krakken that was CRONOS territory; while still struggling to define itself as a burgeoning alliance of region-wide declared GÇ£non-factorsGÇ¥, EoN, specifically G I A N T, gave territory away... To Dust University.
Ever hear of the word GÇ£MagnanimousGÇ¥? Yeah, it's basically this.
It warms the cockles of my heart and makes me feel butterflies in my stomache to investigate and find the truth of this information. Seriously, I'm genuinely lightheadded. I hear music. There's goddamn rainbows shooting around inside my penthouse as I attempt to write this. And no, this is not because of a small, half-empty tube of something metallic grey in appearance on the nightstand.
This is hardly news I suppose to anyone but myself which is probably a part of the shock to it, but it has extremely significant undertones and implications and has forced me to take a closer look at things in their neighborhood. |

As we all know, EoN's presumed GÇ£rag-tagGÇ¥ team of corporations and membership as a whole has truly banded together to become an intense and overwhelming combat force as they do more than just whittle, or even carve, but literally cleave massive chunks out of the beast known as CRONOS, taking over a dozen GÇô Look, I have to type that again because it just seems unreal GÇô OVER A DOZEN districts from CRONOS in the past week. They do fall oh-so hard don't they?
This alone has been an unmitigated disaster for their public image, for what they had of one, and CRONOS has attempted their best spin with many of their more active social trumpeters going softly into that good night and their official PR claiming they are withdrawing forces from unnecessary outposts and locking down core districts against the unmitigable storm which only they themselves have to blame for conjuring it's wrath.
Despite this, they show no interest in allowing free passage into their territory by removing and selling off clone supplies for some kind of reimbursement of their investment and emptying abandoned territory. Instead, they are forcing anyone assaulting to expend clones and resources just to show up to a battle with no one to fight and no pay to be made from combat. A coward's retreat and only more reason for enemies to assault them, if only for spite. This is not how to gain regional support.
Meanwhile one has to wonder what EoN and Negative Feedback intend to do with all this new territory but as we've already seen from NF, they're virtually giving land away to both smaller alliance elements as well as smaller corps if only to get more wildcards involved in the PMC conflicts in Molden Heath. While EoN hasn't officially declared anything, there are rumors that they hold the same intent for their newly aquired ground in Fittikan and Almur. At this point I have to wonder, if CRONOS doesn't want them anyway, why aren't they the ones setting up a garage sale for these districts? This is not how to make new allies, much less appease the enemies on all sides.
Oddly, there are some in EoN, including leader and SyNergy CEO Mavado, who have declared that their intent is not to crush CRONOS but to break them apart in an attempt to benefit them by opening up more competetive contracts between corporations who are currently allied within the CRONOS alliance and as such have no one to legitimately battle.
So now, I finally have to ask. EoN. What are you up to? Really? You utterly demolished one small alliance along side Negative Feedback, and then give land to Dust University after their untimely removal from Hedaleolfarber. You fight NF tooth and nail before simply sceding territory on Hrober to them from where they launch decimation on STB. Similarly, rumors and evidence shows you field for STB during their ground conflict with NF. Did you know what was going down? Insider information so you could just show up for a cut of the pie?
All this, of course, before returning to the business at hand concerning CRONOS with whom NF are now also engaged in conflict. While claiming CRONOS's primary issue is their overwhelming size and unmanageable territory, aside from all their corporations being labor locked to the same time synch leaving few if any to fight on reasonable schedules BUT themselves, you seem to have no issue just ripping and tearing your way through the beast to add to your own property.
What are you doing? Does the snake eat it's own tail? Must we become the monster to defeat it?
This is where it gets interesting for me because this is where I get to predict the future. Unlike NF, EoN seem to have no intention of moving from Tartatven. So, if they're not moving on, but also not intending on holding all that territory in Fittikan and Almur then I'd have to presume that they plan on either selling it at ridiculous prices to the larger corporations and alliances in the region; OR...
If their action of giving Dust University a home after their violent casting out by CRONOS is anything to gamble on, EoN likely plans on selling off all those districts virtually at cost, if not just giving them away, to any and every small-time PMC in existence and their brother with hopes of real profit coming from insurance agreements and protection contracts as well as rapidly increasing the wild-card factor within the region.
It would be nice to see some smaller alliances and corporations return after catching the boot from CRONOS, ROFL, Unclaimed, so many others, and even EoN themselves. Don't act like you're completely innocent here. I'd expect to see advertisements within the week declaring precisely this very thing if I'm right. Hopefully privately controlled land sales will be a better option than Concord's gold-rush model and will lead to higher variation and wider inclusion than Concord's original design.
A word to CRONOS leadership and PR, this IS how you get people to get on your side. Not by land-grabbing from weaker corps to force everyone but the biggest out of PMC involvement. Not by network broadcast chest-thumping and sabre rattling. Certainly not by sitting on 40% of the available territory and complaining how it's unfair that people are attacking you. And absolutely not by stomping all over a group of academics whose only goal is to teach and better people. Ever read Ray Bradbury? I'd suggest it but I also presume the former University libraries are far from in tact. Oh irony.
But what would I know? I'm a madman with a nice car and more guns than is legal for most small nations. I'm sure I'm getting my hopes up for someone fighting for the small dog only to have them dashed violently against a dirty bathroom mirror in some filthy underground club somewhere GÇô my hopes, not the small dog GÇô just to reinforce the feeling that I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Recent and region-shaking news is that a wide majority of veterans are considering retirement. Among them the former titan alliance CRONOS is barely a shadow of its former glory, if there was any to be had there to begin with.
Being assaulted on all sides, inside and out at this point, most of their allied PMCs have decided to pull up the tent stakes and call it quits until future opportunities and regions open for business. The question is how many spacers will be willing to hire these groups based on this kind of a commitment to holding territory for themselves much less a third party.
With CRONOS basically bowing down as an alliance whole, only Seraphim Initiative seem to be around for the long haul, grabbing up nearly fourty districts from allies abandoning camp. EoN has been on the warpath but are possibly losing steam in their endless assaults on CRONOS in their attempt to break them if not wipe them out entirely. On the other hand, with new districts falling to SyNergy, Ill Omens, and Teamplayers to the east, perhaps they're merely looking for a change of pace. And if their report claims are true then by GÇ£change of paceGÇ¥ I mean actually having someone show up to the fight.
Teamplayers have been selling themselves for district acquisition recently so their behavior may be explained there. For SyNergy I can only presume they intend this expansion only to find new corporations to deal with; perhaps seeking new allies, new enemies, or both.
As to Ill Omens, however, one word: Disappointment. But also a kind of maniacal, evil, hand-wringing laughter. This group has been preaching about CRONOS's over-expansion and the inability of their corporations, specifically SI and WTF, to actually maintain the large number of districts they claimed early on. Their original statements proved true as WTF was basically taken to the grindstone and worn down to a mere stub by constant assault contracts. Now holding 25 districts themeslves, however, one has to feel perhaps IO themselves have outreached their own capacity to manage so much territory.
The EoN alliance on average seems to be avoiding this issue with most corporations therein maintaining about half a dozen a piece, easily managable with their resources as they've shown thus far, with the exception of SyNergy who have already started giving away some former holdings as they probe into Eoldulf and Elfrard. Still, IO seems to be setting themselves up for the most ironic fall since the breakout of war between CRONOS and EoN and I for one can't wait. How comical it would be for a massive backlash by CRONOS to feed IO a bit of their own medicine though with so many bowing out it may take new upstarts or foes from other constellations to come in and take care of the excess weight this EoN core element has put on.
And the story of PMCs just calling it quits doesn't stop there. After a fatal blow on STB, Negative Feedback core force The Imperfects have decided there is little challenge left in the region of Molden Heath or anywhere else currently availble to ground mercs in New Eden for that matter.
Map changes recently have shown allied Nyain San spreading into Elfrard but also prove undeniably that the Imperfects have completely removed themselves from the map, if not from the equation as a whole. While few members are still offering their services as individual and even merc teams for hire, as a whole NF clearly have no desire for future involvement in investing their own resources into commanding and maintaining any central ground occupancy.
Out in ROFL territories one could say it's an absolute.... Hell-storm?
ROFL, has many individual mercs and even member corps suffering from the ennui. Pro Hic Immortalis, one of their strongest alliance members, has withdrawn from the alliance as a whole as ROFL districts fall left and right to the allied forces of the League of Infamy; Hellstorm, 0uter.Heaven, .187, Molon Labe, and Warravens, all across Molden Heath's eastern constellations.
Come on ROFL. GÇ£Dawgs. Where you at!?GÇ¥ Suffering heavy losses to Hellstorm following the upstart corporation's takeover of former Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunter territories, Southern Legion has been seen making a GÇ£tactical withdrawGÇ¥ as Hellstorm spread into more territory on Kadalina and virtually overrun Egbinger. All this on top of slowly expanding influence over former CRONOS holdings on Bosena with allies, Molon Labe and Warravens who have also hijacked ROFL districts as well. 0uter.Heaven quite literally came from nowhere but after a rapid showing have decided their best defense against ROFL was an all out on Osveteur, taking command of all but one remaining district on the planet.
One could imagine that ROFL are likewise tired of the monotony of district management except that this argument falls flat when considering they've been fighting constantly against new and different corporations and opponents since the land grab. Unlike CRONOS, ROFL does not seem to show any sign of going quietly into that good night but also seems to be doing little more than kicking and screaming while flailing about on the ground at the moment. |

As it stands, Elfrard could be where the action is in coming days. With districts held by five separate alliances, four on Aeditide VI alone and most of whom hate each other to their core, it's a pressure cooker waiting to burst, flinging shrapnel and death in all directions. Make it happen people! I'll just be standing behind this protective armor plate for no apparent reason. If it doesn't, I'll be even more disappointed in the lot of you than I already am, and that would be quite a feat.
CRONOS, non-SI, you're weak and falling to pieces, giving everything to your glorious leaders in hopes that they'll somehow save your reputation rather than slap you in a pair of black rubber boots and tell you how to march with arms and legs in synch. Harden the **** up.
EoN, you hypocrites. At least a few of you are acting as you've stated but your largest public voice is becoming its own worst enemy and it wont be long before IO falls and takes the rest of you, or at least your alliance reputation, down with it. Harden the **** up.
ROFL, show some backbone. Stand up and fight back. Losses are losses, but losing the psychological war to bad morale is instant death. Harden the **** up.
LoI... You guys came from the shadows and are stomping on everyone without pause. Spot on mates.
If I'm wrong someone please, please prove it to me because all I can do right now is shake my head and agonize over how much I Hate it Here.

Welcome to New Eden: I Hate it Here!
They just continue to drop like flies, but unlike their annoying aerial insect counterparts, there is little in the way of repopulating maggots bursting from the incredible volume of fallen corpses as the full-scale alliance wars only continue to build the grand tragedy that is the drama of Molden Heath's ground command.
We've already seen strong and respectable corporations not simply fall, which can be satisfying to a degree, but withdraw completely from the fight. Though this may be positive news to some larger alliances moving into Molden Heath, it may be a dangerous sign of region stagnation and overall lowered quality and variation of combat opportunities.
Southern Legion makes their way from the field after a rather long bout of commanding the largest posting of ROFL territory but taking severe losses to League of Infamy, specifically Hellstorm, as controversey over tampered and sub-par conscious transfer and data-link biotic modules, causing stuttering conscious awareness and delayed sensory data acquisition, fly at Concord from Private Military Corporations all across New Eden but most vocally from the region of Molden Heath.
Several tin-foil hats have come to see this as an artificial method of controlling ground forces by Concord and space command while others feel it is merely a lack of quality control on the new technology upon which all ground forces are absolutely dependent.
Until such time as proper tech screening is developed and enforced, many PMCs are withdrawing from Molden Heath's land acquisition program. On top of many ground veterans retiring from the grand game of ground combat, shadow wars, and corporate or factional land acquisition; these not-so-new accusations continue to build on a conflict between PMC footsoldiers and the interstellar policing force that rules most from before they're born till well after they're dead and incinerated.
Though not plagued by the same difficulties as their allies in TSOLE, D3ath D3alers have similarly been irreverantly removed from their home by 0uter.Heaven who, now claiming 100% of Osveteur, hold title as the second largest land holding corp in the region's east, let alone their own LoI alliance.
With this new development, and LoI expanding at a rapid and unstable rate, one has to be curious about who their next target may be. Hellstorm has a history with Seraphim, who are still around, but so too do they, and many individual members throughout LoI, have history with numerous EoN corporations and mercenaries, though perhaps with a bit more mutual respect. With only these three left as the de facto superpowers of Molden Heath, it is unlike we'll see a retreat of the darkness that has engulfed the region any time soon.
On a brighter note, perhaps. EoN leadership have decided to come out publicly to announce the offerings of districts and property across Molden Heath, sans homefront Tartatven. They've apparently been seeking private buyers fom the start of their conquest of CRONOS; but, from the map we can clearly see they have not been entirely successful in this endeavour, finding few buyers interested in the high-stakes game of planetary district managment. Hopefully a more open garage sale of acquired lands will see them more successful in real estate sales.
Alongside this, their long-time foes CRONOS constituent Seraphim Initiative have made their own offering in an attempt at decent regional PR by offering Oddelulf districts to any smaller corporation willing to attack and put up a good fight for GÇ£a whileGÇ¥, win or lose. On top of this they appear to be offering amnesty to any corp capable of taking any districts from them on the planet. Though personally I'd be loath to trust anything from some of their smaller alliance members, I kind of want to believe when one of the big three; Grupo de Assalto Chacal, What the French, or SI, say anything positive for the regional community as a whole, though such events are rare.
The move from SI leadership comes in the wake of a revival of, GÇ£Planet Fight ClubGÇ¥, a concept designed by the leadership of EoN, Negative Feedback, and others but with which CRONOS had no interest in being involved nor freely giving up their original claims to Oddelulf.
SI denies bending to EoN, specifically SyNergy, leadership, but clearly they are aware that they still hold more than is feasible for their size to manage all at once at any given time and appear to be making some logistical decisions to maintain a strong presence in Molden Heath and perhaps gain new positive public image, connections, and perhaps even new allies.

The real point, if you're intelligent enough to keep up with all this, is get out there guys! Get on the field, do some work or buy your way in. Get involved. The entire PMC situation is slowly dissolving into an amalgam of monotony. It's definitely a terrifying place out there on the ground in Molden Heath, but it's also some of the best and most rewarding experience you're gonna get in your brief existence you ground fodder grunts. There's no shame in buying the things you want in life. Trust a man who knows from experience. Also, cheaper than so-called GÇ£realGÇ¥ relationships.
Our way of life as a whole depends on this. Concord and various interested space-side organizations, for their planetside plans for the future; you, for the demoralizing defeats and more importantly the glorious victories that actually matter to show you just how great it is to be alive and part of something; and me, to have something more to write about than the same three to four groups of people day in and day out bickering like a group of married couples who all booked their 40th anniversary at the same lounge on the same night.
As for the crowd in west Molden Heath, I'm sure all of these public announcements came by sheer philanthropic will towards various PMCs of New Eden out of the goodness of your hearts. I'd even bet it came in a vision with soaring angels and trumpets. No, that's my headlights and car-horn. Get out of the damn road, you nearly made me spill my Quafe! Just another item to add to the list of reasons why I Hate it Here.
Welcome to New Eden.

To my readers,
Someone's expecting an apology for the previous article being a bit on the late side... Okay, a lot on the late side. Good luck with getting one. Go suck a Leviathan's exhaust port.
Things have been happening in the world and beyond which have led to a revision of previous tactics in reference to maintaining my survival. I got A-No.1 to look out for here before the rest of you info-feed moochers.
It is with that in mind that I think it's time to go public and announce that I have been in contact and working with The Info Broker and team for the past couple weeks and for some bizarre reason they've decided to take on my pieces as a regular column.
While this comes with a few perks, some advanced event knowledge, data and rumor confirmation and/or correction, even the occasional politics behind some of it; it most importantly comes with a relaxing sense of not being dead as I keep flitting about between a hundred different battlefields and as many pleasure rooms. Also cars. Cars and money. Cars and money and lots of grenades.
Maintain a lifestyle centered around these things long enough and you're bound to **** of somebody somewhere, never mind telling most beings in the universe they're at best an unfortunate assemblage of genetic castoffs which somehow developed the capacity for speech and general feeble mindedness.
Anyway, I'll be keeping up with events on the ground via all my contacts, new and old, and doing what I do. I'll be available for taking statements and might even attempt some interviews at some point assuming corporation and alliance leaders and CEOs are able to manage and answer questions to a bald lunatic screaming at them while waving a gun in their face. I'm supposed to be fair and unbiased which means I'll just have to make sure to hate everyone equally, as if you didn't deserve it already.
I'm glad for the protection, and even more glad for the new job, because I could do for a move and a change of scenery. But don't imagine I'm thanking anyone but my own fortuitous brilliance.
'I Hate It Here' on the events of Molden Heath should be up at least once a week on the column's new home at DustReports.com but no hard promises to that schedule. Go read it. Or don't. Like I give a rat's ass. It's probably over your head anyway.
I Hate it Here.
Welcome to New Eden.
