Once I get the skill respec, I plan on dropping from Amarr into Gallente (I miss my equipment too much). I was thinking a build as follows:
Proto Gallente suit
High Slots: 3x Enhanced light damage modifier low slots: 3x enhanced armor plates, armor repper, kinetic catalyzer
Weapon: EXO-5 Mass Driver Grenade: Flux grenade
Equipment: Six Kin triage repair tool, K2 Nanohive, R-9 DropUplink, Nanite Injector
Going with the (militia) kinetic catalyzer to help me keep up with the squad - but am wondering - is it worth it when I could fit another armor repper in there?
With my SP being what it is, I plan on going up to the proto suit, and advanced level into equipment (except for repair tool operation to proto). Electronics and Engineering are both at 2, but according to the spreadsheet I'm not concerned as I will mostly be using the Adv equipment/gear with the proto level suit.
Any thoughts, critiques, ideas?
Thanks! |

I was going to make a similair fit with 7mil SP. This makes you only 3% slower than base movement speed. Beast.
Gal logi 425/437 90/91
527 armor 319 shield
3x complex shield extenders 2x enhanced armor plates 2x basic armor plates enhanced kinetic catalyzer
six kin triage x-3 quantum nano kin-102 injector drop uplink
gek AV nade
How much SP do you have I can help you out. |

Thanks for the help! I'm sitting at around 5.7 million SP right now.
Using the skill planning tool, my proposed SP build is

This is all subjective but imo you dont need armor reppers with the logi passive bonus. You definitely don't need armor upgrades anywhere over Lvl 3. It gives you like 45hp bonus at V, not worth 600kSP tbh. Only need core upgrades at II to unlock electronics/engineering. Nanocircuitry needs to be V. With maxed shield extension it gives you 72.6hp per complex shield extender. General rule of thumb is that if these extenders are giving you more than 10% of your max HP, they are worth it mroe than a complex dmg mod. I'd drop the points in regulation/recharge and try and max shield extension. Your weaponry skills can afford to wait until you get some cores like nanocircuitry up.
I know it is a big SP sink but kinetic catalyzers are worth it imo.
This is what mine looks like Gal medium III Gal logi V Dropsuit upgrades IV armor upgrades III armor plating III Dropsuit biotic upgrades V kinetic catalyzation III Dropsuit core upgrades II electronics I engineering II Nanocircuitry IV (max it) Rep tool V Uplinks I (get it to 3) Shield upgrades III Shield extension V Weaponry III Explosives I Grenadier I Light weapon operation I AR operation III
That costs a little over 7mil SP and will build you that fit. It is designed to be a proper logi that can take a tonne of beating. These are all my opinions but I find this build very effective :)

Very cool. I've paired things down to get down to my 5.7 million SP, but now have a suit (idea) with:
3 enhanced shield extenders 2 basic, 2 enhanced armor plates, militia catalyzer same equipment, nades as above
208 shields, 527 armor. Movement 4.25, sprint 6.51. Faster then sentinels, just a touch slower then Amarr Assault.
Next steps will be to get shield extenders to 5, then into kinetic catalyzers (to get away from militia). |
