I hate this new sterotype excuse of people getting hit by and LAV. I use my LAV to get from kne point to another, but if i s and enemy along the way I try to run over them. Doesn't mean I'm a trash player who has no skill. |

I find the bullfight of LAV vs pedestrian to be one of the most fun and challenging in the game at present.
It offers challenge to both sides and the victory generally goes to the better skilled. The driver has to drop 2-3m SP and around 100k ISK to build a survivable ride, so there is significant investment and risk to make it fun and fair. Yes you can use a free LAV, but it's easy to kill just like a starter suit.
The driver needs player skill to control the vehicle, choose an appropriate target, and anticipate its movements. The target uses his matador skills to dodge and leap over the bull while attempting to get the kill with his AV nades or other weapon.
It's even engaging to spectate, unlike most gun battles.
It's tempting to get angry when you are killed by a weapon you don't use, but stop and give it some thought. You might just gain an appreciation for the bullfight. |
