I read like 1 or 2 years ago, a Gaming Website said Dust 514 will be on PlayStation 3 and also Xbox 360. I was wondering if you Devs are still working on it, or are you guys stick to PlayStation? If you guys are working on it, will we see it on Xbox 360 and Xbox One or just on Xbox 360.
Just wanted to clarify this because now that the game is finished out of Beta, that I thought you guys wanted to port the game to a broader audience.
Thanks, azgoodaz |

Did he just say "completed game?"
More gamers is a generally a good thing. Not likely to happen even though people keep asking for it. |

Yeah, that was changed quite a while ago. Basically, the gist of what happened was:
CCP: We want to use our own servers, as we want to connect dust to eve and such. MS: Nope, you must use MS/XBOX Live servers. CCP: Screw that, we are going PS3 only then.
Obviously heavily paraphrased lol, but yeah that is about what happened. |

Porting Dust 514 to the Xbox (X degress) would mean PSN users would be able to mingle in with XBL users. Microsoft wouldn't go for that, I don't think. |

There are a lot of reasons why CCP decided to change from multiplatform to being a Sony exclusive title. One of the main problems was Microsoft's refusal to allow other networks to access XBox Live, which meant that everything would have to be hosted on Microsoft servers.
That means that CCP would have to pay server rental costs to Microsoft, not just for DUST, but also for EVE Online to allow the cross-game features. |

Who knows? Maybe KB/M would actually work on PC.
Just a matter of time. There are paying players on PC. As soon as CCP thinks it will be profitable, and the exclusive agreement with Sony is expired, expect it to come to PC.

Correct. I believe there was also the issue with CCP pushing out patches through their own in game patcher. Sony made an exception to their normal rules to allow this, but I think this is another area where MS said our way or the highway.
