Firstly I would just like to say that after 2 weeks of almost exclusive use with Move and Sharpshooter in Dust, the new iteration is a great improvement on chromosome so thank you CCP for that. Separate movement speed and reticule sensitivity adjustment is much appreciated and a working ADS makes a long awaited appearance and is a game changer.
But, and itGÇÖs a fairly sizeable but, there still some pretty major issues IGÇÖd like to address.
1)Squad leading GÇô I actually can never do this while using Move, I donGÇÖt have an R3 to give squad orders, not ideal
2)Equipment wheel GÇô what a pain in the butt using this with a move controller is!
3)Aiming reticule GÇô too small and so easily lost on a busy screen
4)Despite the additional movement speed adjustability I still think that turn speed is significantly slower than DS3 including vertical look
5)Unless you are very precise about where you hold the move on spawning you end up staring at the floor, couple that with slow vertical look speed and even the new invisibility at spawn is not enough to save you sometimes
Sharpshooter specific:
6)Reload button is a bit of a joke, very inconvenient, requires hands to leave all other controls. This seems so unnecessary when the sharpshooter has a ready-made pump action facility for reload
Suggestions:
1)WellGǪGǪ.one recurring theme that pops up everywhere and not just for Move is custom button mapping or even a much wider set of preset maps. I long for the day when I can choose what button does what in the way my fingers and thumbs work best!
2)I play as a logi, please please make it possible to put equipment slots on the D-pad, 4 buttons, 4 slots, perfect match. If there is an option (a preset?)to do a straight swap with what is on D-pad now, that would be no problem, those functions are used less often than equipment and would still be accessible enough on a wheel. IGÇÖm not saying totally change it, but have an option to play that way
3)How hard can it be to but in a bright, shaped, larger etc etc reticule? I think I would pay Aurum to have a decent reticule that I could see all the time, especially because unlike the DS3, the reticule does not stay in the centre of the screen with the Move and is easily lost when there is a lot of movement and action. In a related point, because it would alleviate this problem even if the reticule stayed the same, an option that would be most welcome would be one to lock the reticule to the centre of the screen in the same way that it is for the DS3. Not great for those with motion sickness IGÇÖm sure but an excellent option to have available for the rest of us!
4)Bit. More. Turn. Speed. Please. Period!
5)Some sort of vertical look assist on spawning? Would be appreciated
6)If you only get to do one more thing for sharpshooter ever, this would be it. Please use the pump action function to reload, surely we donGÇÖt have to wait for the long off (IGÇÖm sure because IGÇÖm given to understand it is technically difficult to put together) customizeable button mapping in order to utilize such a ready made and convenient function? If for some reason there is a technical roadblock to doing this at least put reload in a more accessible position, the unused left D-pad button would be a million times better than the current option
Would love to think this gets some Dev attention somewhere, I live in hope! Lol Additional feedback and Ideas also welcome from other Move users plus anyone else as I expect button mapping amongst other related topics etc may be of interest to all Cheers

I'm not a move user, so I can only imagine your pain, but I'll definitely agree with the custom button mapping. I'm pretty sure about 0% of all keyboard users anywhere in the world, excepting the one guy who chose it, would move the 2-second-game-disabling player list from right next to the weapon switch key. |

Yeah heard about that! Lol! Feeling your pain too bud.
Personally feel that custom mapping would be a giant positive leap forward for dust |

EDIT: Another idea is for the reticle to stop bobbing around when the controller isn't even moving. It's so annoying.
Clearly a man of fine sensibilities and excellent upbringing! Tell me, when in non-bobbing format, would you like a choice of colour and shape to your rock solid reticule? |

Not particularly :). The turn speed and glittery reticle are my biggest problems. :) |

Yeah, turn speed is really annoying, reckon it takes well over a second to do a 180 turn in my Gallente logi (only 2 enhanced armour plates so not overly weighed down). Movement is more difficult with the Move as it is, no need for a movement penalty as well! next time I'm on I think I'll time a 180 to check it out |

Hmmmmm, well unscientifically measured at just under a second, seems like an age when in combat tho. Wouldnt a 180 degree pivot button be nice!! lol |

ok, a little further feedback from me. Seems a fix has been added that now allows me to give squad orders with the move controller and sharpshooter, very cool thank you although I discovered this by accident, some notice would have been nice!
Was then extremely disapointed to find that after choosing what order to apply it is really really difficult to aim it at my chosen squad mate/installation/enemy and get it targeted, a moving target is impossible fullstop or it targets something else near by. half the time i could stand in front of an installation and try and put a defend or attack order on it and it just wont target it, very frustrating.
Also having difficulties with LAV's. I am unable to directly jump out of a vehicle with the circle button when driving, I have to use triangle to get to gun position then leave. This has caused me several deaths when trying to bail from a burning LAV!

I have a sharpshooter also and that R2 button placement is killing me. Please use the pump action for reload.
Faster turn would be nice, as would the option to lock the reticule to the center, oh and a bigger reticule. You have pretty much nailed all the problems I have currently too. |

For the love of all things holy, stop using the Sharp Shooter. You can do better without it! That is a cheap, waste of money toy. |

I actually do better with it and above and beyond that, I have a bucketload more fun using it and love the extra immersion it gives me. You are right, they are very cheap to buy now, ten quid currently on Amazon and that is money well spent at that price! |
