What about sniper? You'll get spurts of close up action but the majority of the time it's pretty calm (well on your end of the rifle). |

You can train to be a pilot. It's generally less "in your face" combat. However that can get expensive
There is also fun with LAV. Doing hit-n-runs with free LAVs is a lot of fun.
Alternatively, the logistics LAV will be helpful to the team.

Thanks man.
A logistic LAV can heal tanks right? I think I remember a squad person doing that it seems like a life saver and also badass.
I'll think about the LAV thing
I'm not sure what the best way to start of with Logi is. * I have almost 5mill SP. I'm not sure what suit is best for logi. My guess is something with good shield recharge- Logis are usually healing SO I figured they' usually will get hit less (unless pressured or targetted by many in a strategic 'Logi-take-down' so by being hit less shielding might be better then going full armor repair or plates .. Atleast to start with..
What do you think and others who read this..? |

I guess I have to summarize what I JUST said in this post before by memory
ok here goes ..
I have high blood pressure. When I play FPS or DUST FPS my blood pressure goes up, my forearms feel like they're on fire. I Deal with it. This happens more so when I play front line in your face close combat as it can be intense (all the itme)
I'm looking for advice on what I Should do What class/spec should I go into that's _ FUN _ but isn't intense all the time.
MY MAIN GUESS as to what would be best for me to be more effective in DUST 514 is logistics. This way I can still play on foot but also heal/support from behind the frontline mercs. It should be fun.
Feedback, Comments are appreciated and do any of you have problems with high blood pressure playing DUST 514 or other shooters?
Thanks -K

Spec into Dropships.
It will do amazing things for that blood pressure.
Imagine the view up there!
The sun reflecting off that beautiful beast of a ship..
The cool breeze that works its way up into the pilot seat is quite relaxing too..
It will be like a vacation for you. |

My blood pressure goes up when I try to swap my equipment . Takes 2-15 tries to get it to go from weapon to repair tool lol. Not to mention needles are still broken, but i digress. . .
I LOVE being a logi. It is fun to look at the battlefield and just see nothing but opportunities; wether it be dropping down nano hives for my crew, repping, stabbin folks with needles, installing drop uplinks, actively scanning, hacking and getting some kills in while im at it. However, when im running with my squad, I am still very much in "The Sh*t" and do come across some intense gunplay usually. But then again, I play my Logi very aggressively.
The idea of the Logi LAV intriques me, but not so much that im willing to get more involved with vehicles than good ole infantry work. Just keep in mind that no matter what you play, its best to play it smart and safe. Especially as a Logi, keep your head low, never stop moving, and know when to make your escape and form a plan to regroup with your squad if you're scattered. Support at it's finest any way you play it :) |

Thank you. That made me feel better about most likely going logi after my respec.
do you play with Controller or keyboard & mouse, When I switch to smg or scrambler pistal also nano hives I have to push down on Middle mouse button then swipe the mouse in the general direction of the item/weapon. I usually get it. The problem I have is squad orders. I usually skip out on being squad leader mainly b.c of this. I think i've only done a single OB waay back.
yeah.. logi lav sounds cool for supporting vehicles. or tanks mostly I think. OH SH- .. Imagine a ... no wait A LOGI MECH lol running around in a Tank-supporting-shield-regnerating support machine.. lol. Awesome!! (WITH GUNS)
I just though of a simple mech.. Swarm launcher in one arm and cannon in other with optional mini drones that have little smgs lol. |

Whatever you decide, with just 5 mil sp you should focus entirely on that role. In this game it's a lot better to focus on something and have your character be good at it instead of spreading out your sp and have your character be bad at everything. Before investing precious sp it might be best to create an alt to test some stuff out first (to see if it's right for you). |

Good advice. Thanks.
I tried out the plasma cannon an alt account. I'm not great with it and it doesn't do as much dmg (to start off with basic standard) as i thought it would. even lav's I don't know which type. I couldn't even do heavy - one shot them. I guess I kinda expected to one shot lav's with this Beast cannon thing. I applied for a respec on that too(the alt account). Probly won't use the alt account for long time so it builds up. so when new content comes out like new weapons or whatever. I can test them on there. I should of done this with the scrambler rifle. for weeks/month(s) I hyped up the scrambler rifle. I am f-king terrible with it. the 'worry' for overheating for me takes away from concentrating on killing enemys. currently I'm better with assault rifle. full-auto but used in bursts with the mouse.
from the concept art in one of the posts I'm interested to see what the " RAIL RIFLE" is going to be like :) |

From a search:
" " Aspirin, or acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) is a salicylate drug, and is generally used as an analgesic (something that relieves pain without producing anesthesia or loss of consciousness) for minor aches and pains, to reduce fever (an antipyretic), and also as an anti-inflammatory drug.
Aspirin has also become increasingly popular as an antiplatelet - used to prevent blood clot formation - in long-term low doses to prevent heart attacks and strokes in high risk patients. Nowadays, aspirin is often given to patients immediately after a heart attack to prevent recurrence or cardiac tissue death. " "
so umm.. aspirin basically slows your system down I assume from that. " prevents heart attacks, strokes etc.. "
I could take something else but it's more for anxiety and shouldn't be taken all the time.
the other poster said exorcise, play less, well the thing is I do need to exorcise I will soon when my situation changes, but as for playing less. I play maybe 3 rounds of skirmish and usually turn off the PS3. I don't think this is playing a lot. Some people who have 20mill to 30mill SP+ ..probly play a lot.
anyways, I'm optimistic about logistic fitting/setup. I tried it out earlyer with basic/miitia items It's more .. veasable(?) or relaxing to do but also fun and supportive to the team. |
