I wonder if it is a coincidence that the new CoD Black Ops II shares the same subtitle "Uprising". |

I noticed the same. Same goes for Tron: Uprising. Right after I watched a few episodes of that online, I saw the preview for Black Ops II Uprising. Now Dust 514. I thought it was a conspiracy theory...but no uprising have happened yet. |

Cod's getting so bad, they're now copying a game that needs constant fixing. |

Activision got all of their DLC planned out in advanced months before the game is even released, including the names. In fact they start developing the first DLC a month before the COD game is released. |

Do you work for them or something? No disrespect, just curious.

Indeed. And it takes them so long to develop three new maps, they have to wait six months before they release those maps. Makes CCP look heroic, switching from the Carbon engine onto the Unreal engine in less than a year. |

Because its obvious. When you follow the industry long enough, you see patterns everywhere. Activision obviously has all of their DLC planned in advanced.

They're trying not to flood people with DLC too fast. After all, these are 15$ dollar maps ;) |

You have way to much faith in these companys. As someone who does no people in industry it's standard practice to be reactive rather than nail things down so it's easer to react to player behaviors. |

It's because of all the Al-Qaeda love you see on the Internet these days.
Companies like CCP probably think it's cool to invoke images of "Arab Spring" type insurgency imagery while forgetting all the associated baby murdering and what-not. |

Oh my god, it also shares the name of a Bob Marley album.

Hours after I wrote this some poor man is slaughtered like a hog in a public street in England in the name of an "uprising".
This is the new gaming "cool" it seems. Dangerous terrorism presented as hip entertainment. |
