I love terrorizing noobs in BA and making them rage quit.
Once I max out one character at 10,000 War Points and am booted from BA, I just transfer my ISK to another one, gear up and go at it again.
Fun times, fun times. |

Listen, OP, you might want to try your cry for help with family and friends. I highly doubt anyone on this forum gives a poop about you, so we aren't going to be all "oh poor guy, he obviously has a lot of issues to make him be such a douche bag and then brag about it, we should help him."

I play the Academy exclusively lately. However I tend to use less effective loadouts such as the Plasma Cannon. I once accidentally went 32-3 with a Mass Driver, I didn't even notice that I killed so many of them. In the next game I went on Anti-LAV-duty instead to make up for my griefing. |

CCP, at least make these churlish brats have to create new accounts after playing some fixed number of matches, it's not that hard to do.
That would also help with the starter ISK farming.
How many times a day can you create a new alt, join a corp and donate it's resources to the corp anyway? What, 80 million, that's only 160 alts (I'm not in the game... I may have the numbers wrong). Child's play as the OP demonstrates. |

Maybe it's because I don't pay attention to things, but I swear I know I heard someplace that there was no ISK transfer system in place. Haven't ever tried it honestly, so I have a hard time believing this scrub. Nonetheless, OP I spent two days in the Academy when it released. I did so for two reasons, one it was a new system, which with CCP's record meant there had to be issues with it. New players may not have automatically known this. Second reason was because I'm not an AR guy and admittedly, I'm not a run and gun super elite vet player and learning to play run-n-gun against proto players is not the easiest way to learn. After I got my 10K, I have not been back.

While I understand the sentiment expressed throughout this thread, and I largely agree with it... Dust is a game where you (not me, I can promise you that) get better, SP and ISK up, roll out in your most awesomeness, and destroy anything and everything that is weaker than you. It is simply the game to do so. If that aspect drives away players even to the point of systematic invalidity, that is what Dust did. I can't tell you how many times I've gone into public matches solo, and seen 70-0 ends to a skirmish because a rock-hard squad of 6 were mowing us all down like dry weeds. I hated it, but those guys put in the work, and if they win, so be it.
To be honest, simply because of my nagging inability to skill into anything where I make a measurable contribution beyond being part of a large bodycount for proto suits, I am probably going to be playing this game a lot less, just so the legitimate contenders are surrounded by one less squish-berry. Other shooters entertained me: Dust has shown me the insurmountable wall of my ability. I could cry and ask the game to be dumbed down (and i kind of used to do just that), but I'm over it now. Dust will rise or fall on the dynamic of gritty, complicated realism versus casual ease of play. It is a different shooter, it will generate different players. |
