....Taste like cotton candy.
All of that said I thought I'd show my support for this interesting bit of depth that has been put into our lil ol' dust bowl.
This isn't something I have the time or energy for in my old age but these kinds of things add intrigue and are what ultimately will get this game notoriety and coverage.
I would argue that it's mechanics like this that allowed EVE to be as successful as it has. |

Nah What will make Dust successful are the evaporating AR bullets, buggy client that over heats peoples PS3s, lack of game play options, crap aiming and conttols, promises of persistent universe crammed into a lobby fps, Promises of a VISION, and the crap SP/leveling system that lets crap players be carried by their gear/SP. That will SOON bring all the "thinking men" to this game at least for the next ten years.
It is becoming more and more apparent what kind of a 'gamer' you are.
Good day. |

Adapting to the effects and changes within the sandbox is one thing. Just like learning that in New Eden you won't have your hand held to keep you from making mistakes. But that's not equivalent to being unable to manage your assets/resources/corp because the game client lacks the features to permit it at present. QQ over losing your faction fit Cap because you jumped into OMS uninvited? Yeah HTFU. Point out that an unfinished mechanic is unfinished and exploitable? That simply needs addressed and phrases/attitudes applied to matters internal to the sandbox aren't really appropriate.

might be too much logic to process, so feel free to continue telling me about tears and "HTFU" some more
Perfect amount of logic but contains blaring inaccuracies.
Holding corps are mechanics to manage your assets/resources/corps.
They solve the problem of PC security and awoxing.
To me, it feels like, the whining is stemming from the fact there are a few corps that don't want to go through the trouble of transferring members or ownership of districts. Stop being lazy and asking to be spoonfed security when the mechanics to secure your corp already exist. |
