I hadn't actually got to sit down and play since like 4/20, but I patched and played yesterday.
All I have to say is, this game rocks. Not even in a this game has potential aspect, this game is actually really fun to play now.
For all the people QQing that this game is horrible... umm. I have no idea why you don't like it. |

I love it also. Maybe the QQing is because majority of the players have played all the big shooters in the years and have their expectations high, but for me this is first FPS like, after Doom and stuff.

Actually I dunno. I have played the new shooters, stuff like Planetside 2, CSGO, Battlefield 3, COD. Those games are fun also, but I think Dust has an edge on them because of how you save fittings, skill up and can take over territory. My Corp has some land and its exciting.
Right now for me its kind of a toss up on Battlefield 3 and Dust. I like BF3, its alot more polished, but it has no permanence, you play and your done. In Dust I am always browsing the market, looking at the QQ threads in the forums, looking at the Starmap, looking for new players and corps to fight against, trying to remember people's names. Saving up $$ to give to the corp, stockpiling items for when we can transfer stuff to each other.
There just seems to be a lot more to Dust then other games. And I mean alot more to Dust right now, not in a fanboy potential sort of way. It has its flaws, but its really good. |

You took the words right out of my mouth. It's the permanence of it all for me that makes it so great. The market is awesome too. |

For me its the feeling of getting that edge when you get that 5% increase or new weapon, or the resource management, or the great communities and corps. Too many people look at the actual shooting when it's the meta-game that makes it stand out. |
