This community is not serious about helping out ccp. There are so many thread about buffing and nerfing that arn't needed.
If you want this game to successes, we all need to work together. Ccp needs to know what this game needs and what It doesn't

CCP doesn't need our help. They do this stuff for a living. They literally get paid to sit around and figure out how to make the game better. That's worth approximately thirteen million forum peoples in terms of quality ideas produced. Post here to amuse yourself. The rest is just for show. |

Wait this game is going to fail? I am so confused I thought that 2 million characters had been registered and that there were over 6k people playing earlier today. That doesn't sound like failure to me. I must be really confused though. Please, teach me what fail means o' master of doomsaying. |

In any game there's a difference between a game mechanic's designed purpose and its practical use. The reason why there are so many buff and nerf threads is because there's still a disconnect between certain things. For example, heavies were seen as meat shields that would lead a charge or suppress the enemy at choke points. Now in uprising, they were redesigned to be defenders. Even though there's open communication between developer and player in Dust 514, there's still a bit of disconnect on how balanced specific game mechanics should be in the developer's eyes and how we want to use said game mechanics or how competitive they should be compared to others.
If you go into any battle right now, what do you see on the kill feed? Almost nothing but ARs and TARs especially when that weapon line has 4 available guns and several other weapon choices that are fading into obscurity and novelty because they aren't able to compete. So if there's one weapon type being overused and one variant of that weapon the diminishes any incentive to use the others, something has to be wrong, right? |

I don't understand how you think the negativity adds anything of value?
If those folks walked away I don't see how it could possibly reduce the chances of success for this game. We're all going to have to wait for a series of drops to see where things get. Trying to drive people to other games isn't any way to ensure that this game actually delivers on what it could be at some point in time. |

I'm not saying they bring value and I'm also not trying to drive people away to other games, I'm just saying what going on. It's more of a alarm bell and hopefully CCP will interpret it as that.
Yes we have to wait, but we were waiting in Beta too which was the perfect time to test everything out, but they messed that up (I hope this doesn't need any explanation) and they need to step up their game now. They could start out by starting the transparent and open communication they promised.
