Is there a skill that increases range cause I can't find it and getting out ranged when we are using the same gun is getting old.
Side question what's your Madrugar fittings? |

I can't answer your first question, but for your second:

Now, here are my (relevant) skills: Vehicle Armor Upgrades III (1.15% Armor) Vehicle Core Upgrades V (1.05% PG/CPU) Vehicle Electronics II (1.1% CPU) Armor Adaptation V (0.85% PG cost of armor hardeners) Vehicle Armor Plating II (0.94% PG cost of armor plates)
This pushes me into the 5400 or so armor range.
Having activated these modules one step at a time gives me this much EHP:
Hardener 1: 6750 (duration 60 / cooldown 15s) Hardener 2: 8100 (duration 60 / cooldown 15s) Hardener 3: 9450 (duration 60 / cooldown 15s) DC Unit: 9990 (duration 30 / cooldown 30s)
Of course the repper adds a lot of survivability on top of that. According to the description, it should heal 342 health per pulse and only have 5 pulses, but it feels like a lot more than that.

Side question what's your Madrugar fittings? Sharpshooter is gone for good. If he outranges you he either has a higher tier weapon or a higher range variant. Protip: The tac AR is really bad, don't bother trying it. |

If you're getting outranged by the same gun, either you're missing because of spread (there are skills on a few weapons to reduce this) or you're missing because you're bad at aiming, and whichever it is, the other guy doesn't have the same problem.
If you're being outranged by "the same gun" in the sense that you're using an AR and so is the other guy, different models have different ranges. Also, if you're being hit from far enough that your shots aren't dealing significant damage, some weapon variants have higher optimal, or they might be running damage mods or skills which give a damage buff so your shots barely scratch while theirs are still hitting hard enough to hurt. |

OP, if you are getting out ranged you need to stop hanging back and zig zag your way in closer. Or, train AR Operations 4 and start using the GLU Tactical Assault Kitten. Or the laser rifle. Or the scrambler rifle. Or the mass driver. Last but not least, get in your free starter LAV and drive right over the bastard. Don't forget to tip your bartender.

Zig zagging helps you dodge most of the shots. I was able to get pretty close to enemy mercs this way even if they were wielding Tactical Assaults. Also, the reason they got rid of the range bonus in favor of dispersion reduction is because the range bonus had a blanket effect on all weapons which meant that you see shotguns killing people from absurd ranges while the snipers dominated with unpresedented range capable to shooting you from the opposite side of the map while heavy machine guns were able to snuff you out before you even got within a football field distance from them. |
