I should have 15% reduction to overheat using my advanced assault suit, but when testing the same weapons in militia gear the overheating feels the same.
The scrambler rifle is a laser weapon, yes? Can anyone confirm that the heat reduction is working? |

From what I've read on here, it doesn't affect the scrambler rifle.
Whether or not this was intended, I haven't the foggiest idea. |

It's feedback damage reduction. When you do overheat, it does less damage.
Pretty bad bonus, really. |

You're thinking about the Sentinel (heavy) suit, and yes it is a bad bonus.
The Amarr Assault suit does reduce Scrambler overheat, but the basic medium suits do not (this applies to every bonus for all basic suits) meaning that the militia suit will not be getting any bonuses. |

The OP is perfectly aware of that. He stated that he was using the Advanced Ammar Assault (for a 15% bonus) and noticed no difference over the militia suit which does not receive the bonus. |

I'm afraid I can't quote the dev saying so. But one posted saying the Amarr assault bonus should benefit the Scrambler Rifle. If it doesn't, it's a bug. |

I would really like more input on this. The suit bonus doesn't say feedback damage reduction, it says reduction to overheating. I'll do some more testing. |

There have been people mentioning that it Amarr Assault suit bonus doesn't affect SCR overheat. But I'm still waiting on a video.
If all else fails, I'll try posting a video using my potato photo. |

its hard to notice the 15% ucz in real it only redces 7.5%.. |

 I would, but I'm still grinding out SP on my alt character to test it out.
Once I get Amarr Assault skill to around level 3 or level 5, I was planning on doing a side-by-side video, but i have a long ways to go.  I was hoping someone would beat me to it. |

Militia gear does not grant a bonus, neither does basic medium suits

CCP Wolfman has answered this question before and said yes, it should work as described, so he's looking into it.
Edit: I'm not linking the post since I'm on the phone, but the Amarr assault gives a 5% reduction to heat build up per level, and works grand with the laser rifle, but for some reason is not working for the scrambler rifle. |
