Ever since the launch of uprising, I've only seen a handful of armor HAVs. Almost all the HAVs I encounter are shield. This makes my missile turrets completely useless as I always lose battles when another shield HAV pops up. I'm definitely respeccing into hybrid turrets because there's not enough armor out there.
Plus, I'd like to add that a railgun (with less splash than 4 missiles) can easily kill most dropsuits in one or two hits of splash, while spamming missiles at the ground only tickles players. |

Really? My Small Missile Turrets usually one-shot non-Proto infantry (and even Proto Scouts), and my Large Missile Turret can instakill most Dropsuits with a single burst.
Also, I must be very lucky, because not only do I see a decent number of armour tanks, but I also manage to hold my own against other shield tanks while running Missiles. In a Sica. I don't always win, but I put up a good fight. |

If Amarrian Tanks were available I might be one of those armour guys....as it stands Im
A- Not a fantastic HAV pilot
B- Refuse to pilot anything made by Gallente filth. |

Or I'm lucky in my own ways. Obviously a direct hit with a missile kills most people, but the chances of that are still small so I aim at their feet.
Also have you ever had a blaster Gunnlogi jump at you? Because it will always win unless you got some serious AV support with you. |

The ninja nerf on vehicle PG hurt armor tanks the most, and since missiles actually work now, it's like "why bother?" |

Against a Sica, you'd expect a Gunnlogi to win more often than not, regardless of weapons.
I've taken a couple of Blaster Gunnlogis down with mine though.
Taken a Rail Madrugar once too. Probably the highlight of my career so far.
And yes, this is only counting the times where it's a straight tank duel without AV support. I'm yet to take and Enforcer, and I've been killed by other Militia tanks more often than I've killed Gunnlogis or Madrugars, so while there are times I've done well, it isn't all the time.
Seems fair enough to me. And I see enough armour tanks to be fine with it. |
