Been watching DUST through development without a ton of interest, figured I'd give it a shot. I'm OK with a controller, but totally a mouse+KB player. With that said, does anyone have an opinion on the Sharpshooter PS Move controller? I've heard for some games it's amazing, better than the DS3, other games not so much. Spent a couple hours searching the forums here but it seems like no one's said much about it or feels strongly for or against it.
So opinions? Worth picking up and using with DUST or garbage? |

It has come a long ways from closed beta and is actually useable and if you get comfortable with it it is rewarding. It isn't something that you will be a great player but you can kill people and go semi positive. Good for holding down positions where you don't have to worry about turning around because this is slow and disorienting. Sniping is hard with it and zooming in with a sniper has the deadzones way to big.
Only a few problems left to iron out like the deadzones and maybe adding a 180 spin button. But the biggest problem is the reload button! It is on the bottom of the gun and is horrible to reload during a fire fight! Can't stress the last point enough to ccp, change that damn reload button to the pump.action! |

id stick with practicing with the nun chucks, and use the sharpshooter once you have enough proficiency with aiming. Under the right hands PS move mode on dust is quite dangerous. Its the only peripheral in dust which allows you to shoot in a direction you're not facing. Running and bullets coming out of a 30 degree angle; your target wouldnt even know what hit them because the gun doesn't even track follow the aiming reticle. I'd of course bring a friend along so he/she can focus on aiming while im running. TLDR PS Move tag teaming is OP , nerf plz. |

Ive entertained getting the ps move and a sharpshooter. The wife wants to get some of them other games the move is good for. Id probably only use it for shooters. So ive wondered the same thing. |

I heard something along those lines, about turning. Planning on playing with an HMG which seem pretty slow in general, so it seemed like either it'd be great for backing into a corner and defending an objective, but not sure if the turning issues would be more noticeable with a slow heavy geared character, or work with it and be less noticeable than someone geared for speed. |

Thanks for the feedback; I've been interested for a while now on the Move's possibilites for this game, especially as a way to counter all the KBM players.
I run Logistics pretty exclusively, though, and I'm wondering if you (or anybody else) considers this a viable playstyle in combo with this controller? As you know, Logis spend all match switching between their gear and their weapon of choice, and I've not heard much on how easy this is using the Move. Likewise, I find myself heading squads more and more, so the same would apply to setting Squad Orders.
Taking into account there is a learning curve with all new peripherals, what say you all? Should I give it a shot, or is Move just good for Assault? |

Maybe when I have a girlfriend, then it would be safe to use the PS Move. |
