You have as much chance landing a headshot wit the scrambler than actually getting someone with the flaylock's splash damage
Personally I prefer the scambler over the SMG since I've practiced with it a lot. |

my splash radius is 2.5meters, so i have a much better chance and it hits way harder. I guess it takes accuracy and sp to get good with but once you understand it, you will fall in love 
side note: i only used the advanced most of the time with a 1.5meter blast radius and it works wonders. |

Minmatar Assault+SMG=Faceroller.
Just in case you didn't know, Minnie assault has a +5% sidearm clip size per level, so that's 100 bullets per clip in an SMG. |
