Purpose
Ive read a lot of threads about people QQing that they are not as large and powerful as say SVER (Kudos btw guys on an entire planet), saying that PC is doomed due to the fact that the little guy will never be able to get a foot hold now. I remember when B.O.B was king of all things in Eve, now many dont even know who BOB was, so Empires come and go in Eve, and they will in Dust. SVER will fall some day, as will SI, Betamax and all the others so im not worried about this.
Merc Contract
The Contract is much like a hauling contract in Eve Online, where the issuer says I want X hauled from here to there, the Merc Contract will allow you to do something similar. The Merc Contract will allow you as a issuer, to contract individual Mercs or even corp or alliances, to defend or attack on your behalf. Collateral will be able to be a part of the contract, and you will be able to do such things as making payment options such as a % of your PC's upkeep.
In the example below X will designate a contextual hub within the contract. If the X has a (), it entails that options will be given.
The Contract (WIP)
Corp X (your corp by default) is contracting X (here you will be able to select a corp/person/alliance) to X(Attack/Defend) at X(again a contextual menu that you can choose a time and date where if you own a PC District its vunerable time will be the default or if this is an attack contract the district to be attacked vulnerable time will be default but you can change these times if you wish). X (this will now be filled in as you have already selected the person or entity whom is filling this contract) will be paid X(A contextual menu allowing you to designate a payment in the form of either an immediate payout or in the form of payout from the District over time), but must supply X(here you will choose collateral, perhaps to use to buy a Starter Pack, a certain number of players if you are contracting a Merc Corp. You can also select things like they have to deploy X dropships, tanks or proto-suits perhaps) and must accomplish the following X(here you can select things like Win the match, kill X enemy/tanks).
End This is no where near perfect of course and would need feed back, but this would allow for you as a Corp leader to bring in outside help if you need it, and allow for some security from being betrayed in the form of collateral. |
