CCP Cmdr Wang C C P C C P Alliance 2027	Posted - 2013.05.17 10:06:00 - [1] - Quote Dear players, Yesterday after a minor content update we received a lot of content download failure reports from our players in the US region, we then started investigating the issues immediately internally with the Operations, Customer Support and development teams. Once we confirmed the issue was not caused by our code base or the content update we deployed yesterday, we started working with our content distribution partners to look into the issue and discussions on solutions we could come up with. As soon as we confirmed the issue was due to some of our content distribution servers not functioning and we redirected traffic to the backup servers, which seemed to have fixed the issue immediately. We will keep analyzing the data with our content distribution partners to find out how this happened and will update you with more findings once we have them. During the investigation period we received a lot of support from our players with their network connection information, and connection testing logs, which greatly helped us isolate the problems. We really appreciate the support and help you provided to us while we continued working on this. (after the update you are talking about) Friday night after patch Half of us got stuck in the loading screen and had to restart PS3. Got in 4 minutes after match started. Also the Lag is beyond anything I have seen in ANY game. For 80 MILL ISK we should all at least have a fighting chance. Have you guys seen any of this on your end after reviewing the data? Thanks Cmdr!!

I downloaded the software patch Friday night and then tried the game client patch Saturday morning, but it still doesn't work. I get to where it wants to download but it just sits there at zero percent and zero bits per second. Still trying.

You've had SO much time to test and develop this game and even after the official retail launch your content distribution servers are still screwed. I keep coming back to this game giving it second chances but everytime I do I keep finding more reasons to write it off. This game has been a series of screw ups from the start. It's as if you're TRYING to screw everything up because it's so consistent, the most consistent I've ever seen from any developer in 20 years.

It still won't work. Just hoping for something to change before I decide to reinstall the game.

Was playing fine but after the last update Dust got corrupted and made me uninstall it. Now I'm stuck at the "Updating Game Client" page where it never makes it past 9% before resetting.... Does anybody have any workarounds for this yet?

Amazing. At least now it'll bounce back and forth between 40 and 40.39%, but I'm still getting no where. Thanks for getting my hopes up.

My last download attempt jammed up at the 38.94% region and continually 'rolled back' to 38.75% before choking on the same point again. Restarting just puts me in the same situation. Feels like there's a serious bug in the client's ability to overcome an invalid hash check.

I've reinstalled the game and tried downloading the game client patch, but, like always, it stops around a certain percentage and bounces back and forth between a tenth of a percent. Someone should take a serious look into this. I'm not even going to try with this game anymore.

Best part is my credit card was expired, but i currently still get funds on it, and now cannot relink it with my psn account so once I can play I cannot buy anything really great! =). And now I have ran and included all possible location and ip address info they should need, along with the results from test page, and the results from the trace the devs asked people to run, all in my help ticket. Hoping for a response and fix. Gl guys id recommend sending in a ticket. CCP please help us. Have a great day everyone ;)
