Ok so we know there are several suit frames missing for various races as well as the racial variants of vehicles and weapon types.
I believe we need these to be a priority or does ccp plan a respec with each release of something that should of been present at official release.
for example i want to be a logi LAV user so currently i have to invest alot of sp into gallente or caldari LAVs but im diehard mini player and want to use these where possible without respec promise i have two choices invest sp into LAVS i dont want to use long term and invest into the mini versions once available(spending twice the sp) or wait and save my sp(which is boring and dull and no one)
I think respecs are bad but not giving us respecs to access items that should of been here release is worse.
So to avoid have respecs for the next 2/3 builds please push the vehicles and dropsuits as priority (there is enough racial weapon varation to make do with weapons at moment apart from maybe amarr heavy weapon and gallente/caldari side) |

I 100% agree. There needs to be all the basic weapons and suits before any respecs. |

Was already discussed about using other suits as placeholders until they are in. While this would work for vehicles and suits, it cannot work for weapons as you can see most weapons have newer behaviors and that takes time to code.
Suits on the other hand its more of a matter of changing/designing stats and assigning the wrong ids to them for a short bit. |

Yeah, as much as I enjoy using Gallante weaponry I'd really like to get to use my race's designs. Hopefully it's high priority.... |

need to see the real logi suits for the Amarr, Caldari and Gallente and the real assault for the Minmatar.
Yellow assault suits and making the Minmatar medium model for both is an eye sore. |

I do think a full line up of racial gear is the best starting point. I am fine with place holders as long they are not broken. |

Yes please, CCP should introduce the other 3 heavies but use the ammar model. While this is very obviously beta testing design, it needs to be done for the future of the game, graphics be damned.
Weapons on the other hand I can understand why they can't rush them all out, but suits are very core to the game...
Or else we'll have to give out an optional respec every single time a new heavy is introduced. |

Albeit, problem with this still remains: You're still investing SP into the wrong category. It's not that the suits themselves don't exist, or their bonuses aren't already prevalent, it's that you're still going to have to spend SP into the wrong category.
My current issue is that the only Sidearms available are Pistols/SMGs (knives aren't useful for armor tankers) which are both Amarr/Minmatar based, so I'm stuck using the Militia variant. On the other hand, I don't mind spending the SP into other more useful things. |

now this is a great idea if it means i can get my mini LAV sooner rather then alot later (gallente painted rusty for mini and caldari gold for the amarr)
not able to do it on weapons is totally understandable, at the moment we do have a wide range of weaponary that does cover all races (granted not at all sizes but we got what we got)
Please push this idea, even if it doesnt look great for released games to have shared models for things that arent the same the bonus of getting the skills and the items is more important |

It becomes clearer from day to day that they only released the beta officially, not the game. Because DUST, even in its most basic content, is far from being complete. With all the missing parts it seems that DUST's release was initially aimed at May 14, 2014. All the things we would like to see coming should already be in the game. At least the matchmaking system, the racial variants of Dropsuits, Infantry Weaponry and equipment and everything else that we already have in the beta. In my opinion these are all just excuses for not having been able to deliver a full featured game. This is what makes me more mad than all the missing parts of the game. |
