You know those portals in EvE Online which allow you to warp into an area? This is something similar to it, but can transport troops/vehicles across the battlefield. To balance it, let the equipment take up 2 slots, and there's also a jammer equipment which screws with the former equipment's functioning within a certain area. Besides, only two can be laid down at a particular time Imagine getting behind the enemy's rear flanks, dropping down a portal, and getting vehicle support in the form of HAVs which were transported there right from the base. This would not require calling in an RDV too, thus maintaining stealth, and potentially locking down enemy troops within an area, ripe for picking with an OB |

They're called "Drop Uplinks" and we already have them. |

No, I don't mean something to spawn- something to TRANSPORT directly from one side to another, like vehicles. |

You don't need it to take up two slots. It just needs to take a ton of PG and CPU. Also, this would rock if you could see through it, and shoot through it. |

No, it should need to connect to another player, while both are using the equipment. You should not be able to deploy this as a single player. It should take two players, activating the equipment roughly simultaneously, thus opening both sides. |

Perhaps it can come in two different flavours? Though I still believe it should take 2 slots as it could be a potential game-changer ----- much more tactical than a drop uplink. |
