this game needs to have the skill points looked at . i have a skill at lvl 3 and need to get it to lvl 4 .. that cost 430,000 to lvl 4 .. so far i make about 7500 per match in sp ... the match takes about 20 minutes .. that means to get that one skill to lvl 4 i have to invest 19 hours .. is this the way the game is going .. nothing more then a time sink to get my skills up ... thats just one skill ,,, mybe you could either delude the skills so there is more to chouse from or up the amout of skill pionts we get per match .. because the way it is now ... its going to take forever to get a a few high lvl skills i want ... with that said ... the game is not fun anymore when all im doing is chasing SP that are so far out of my reach .... i use boost both types and im not a bad player and i like the game but the amout of sp needed to lvl up its really turning me off to this game .. |

Right now, current close approximation put maxing out the skill trees at 13 years to max a character out, and that's with both boosters active the whole time. General consensus is "that's way too long".
But don't be put off by that. Developer's have come on the forums to let us know that the skill system is being tweaked again. CPM (Council of Planetary Management, a group of players elected by CCP to be a player ambassador's, so to speak) also brought up this issue that many core skills take WAY too long to earn. 13 years of earning skills for a game that has a 10 year plan is off balance. Especially because more vehicles and suits will be coming our way (Jets, Medium Assault Vehicles, Heavy suits for other races).
TL;DR version: The trees will be tweaked in the coming days. Most likely not drastic changes but ones where it will be easier to skill into core skills at a much faster pace. |

i hope something is done , my post above is about just one high lvl skill there are a doz more that i need all costing 500k +. even if they just give use bonus xp like they did a few weeks ago where eveyone was getting 3x .. that was fun back then to play ,it felt like you were getting stuff done .... now the game feels more like work  |

i think they should just add twice as many levels for skills and lower the skill costs that way we are geting stuff more often so it doesnt get boring and feel like we are working twards impossible goals, cause ill tell u personally that starting from a new character and trying to get a proto logi suit is just like wtf im not even gona care id rather just run with the t1 logi suit and live with it cause that took long enough to get
also another idea is to let us sink points into a skill without fully buying it |
