How I look at it is that we all have been, and continue to be free QA persons for CCP.
Yet they seem to not listen to us very well.
I guess you get what you pay for!

as someone who has been in this game since closed beta, i disagree. they have improved a whole hell of a lot. Granted, most of the first passes on there fixes are a pretty odd interpretation of "fix" but they do get it done. |

Have you tried listening to us? Most of what comes from the forums is incoherent and/or inconsistent and/or plain old idiocy.  |

Not a single person on these forums has ever posted here the same sort of stuff that a QA person has to do as their job. You're not a QA worker, you're a beta tester - those are two very different things, not matter how great you think your 'testing' has been. |

People are being nice to people which is nice.
But you are correct CCP is horrible at explaining their own game and they rely on the forums carebears to much to answer pretty basic questions which should be found online, ingame, in tutorials and in FAQs.
Jesus how hard is it to actually explain how the human endurance event worked?
And that actually had a blog post about it...yet somehow the actual meat of how it worked could only be found on the forums...pure fail. |
